The forum is more organized and moderated whereas the cafe is chaotic and nothing but spam. I'd use the cafe if I ever needed to quickly promote something but other than that, i'll always prefer the forum.

Whereas on the forums, if you don't express the majority opinion, your comment can be moderated for being controversial.

There's also more power for the community, because dislikes can delete posts and topics that are unnecessary/inappropriate.

People don't know it, but the Cafe is actually pretty educated and inoffensive.

If someone posts something prejudice or homophobic, their comment receives dislikes and people tell them it's not a good idea to do it, although I have to admit the backlash is sometimes expressed in an unnecessarily aggressive manner.

This has never happened in my five years of forum use? Like the reason something that would not be the "majority opinion" would get moderated is because you expressed said opinion like a douche or it's something along the lines of pedophile/nazi/rape apologism which is literally triggering for some people.

Without forums, you can't do profile, upload pics, private chat, messages, plus can't write like [this]. Can't read news, ect.

I'd say Cafe because, people post more often and they have more freedom whilst on the forum, it's a different tab so you can't play and go on the cafe at the sort of same time but the forums aren't that bad to be honest.
