Micearecute a dit :
It was Halloween 2010. I wanted to get all of the Halloween accessories. Everyone was wearing this skull, it was popular. I was able to get all the items quickly, as events were easy back then.

There were no furs yet, but still I was captivated by all the shop items and I came up with a dream outfit. It looked like this and as you can see, it looks terrible. But I really wanted it and I would play Transformice non-stop for it. That night I couldn't sleep because I needed that outfit. Later throughout the year I would get in trouble because I would be playing Transformice all night trying to complete events.

This was long before there were item customizations, furs, backgrounds and hardmode. The ice ground was purple, all of the grounds had a wood texture, and a handful of grounds did not exist yet. This includes the snow ground, stone ground, sand ground, water ground, cloud ground, earth ground and grass ground. By the way, when hardmode first came out the feather looked the same as the normal mode shaman's except it was yellow, you were allowed to use two red nails in your totem instead of only one and you could not customize your shaman color.

I have more stories of the old days, of Christmas 2010 and the anvil god. I can tell you more if you'd like.

damn, those seem like fun times!!!!! and it seems it was easier for mice to get the hang of it and learn everything...because now, it's all so goddamn complex!

Ok, so i have created my account, i skipped the tutorial because i never really read what to do when i play a game, i kinda learn along the way.

so, i saw the basic...u get the cheese, u go back to hole, and sham needs to help u...

Yes, people called me NOOB a lot, and still do. lol so that's not a big deal... i learned to use the anchors in the first 2 days thanks to some mice who told me what to do instead of yelling NOOB....
i finally got my first item in 4 days, it was the blue short hairstyle, it cost 200 cheese back then...i have created my account on halloween event, so i did make a few friends while the event lasted because i was annoying everyone not knowing what to do and how to use the slot machines...
no mice with better stats wanted to be friends...which made me sad. that's why when later i got the hang of it and knew most of tfms secrets, and how to pick up on events fast, i started helping new players if i saw them having trouble shamming or playing event.

so, yeah, my first week...i felt left out, as if i don't belong in the game XD

Maybe because you joined after the skills update, so you were considered a noob because you were a low level and didn't have Ambulance, Personal Teleporter, etc., etc.

Well, I was called a noob ALOT. I used to dread becoming shaman because it was incredibly hard to get firsts because people just instantly killed themselves when I was shaman and/or called me "noob" over and over XD

I was pretty fast at learning some basics, and wall-jumping. I'm pretty observable, and basically can soak in an experienced shaman's every move and learn from it. Although it took about two weeks to get the hang of wall-jumping. Although I was pretty quiet and rarely talked in my first month, because I was really anxious about getting made fun of and chased out of the game or something if I said the wrong thing. I was a nervous wreck back then.

When? Winter4438 was not my first account.

June 6th-20th was my first 2 weeks in the game.

I was mainly a fast learner, although, I was mostly ignored by everybody until I used "fraises" to make an outfit. And from that point on, I was sometimes mistaken for a female.

Haha, that sucks. Maybe get less feminine clothes, Skady.

Same. The fact that I play a certain game (that most people on TFM hate) makes it even harder for me.

People are dumb these days they swear if you took their first, and if you're new to the game and its your shaman turn they will call you noob which actually mean "new" so yeah don't listen to the people who calls you names just ignore them and move on. Just play the game don't complain.

I was like "what the fuck, what kind of old OS is this?", but then I realized that it was from 2010.

No one called me noob.
There were no fraises, skills, Hard or Divine mode, consumable items, furs, customization was free, etc.
We played for fun, not to bash on others for being bad at the game.
There were no art maps. You played for fun, not to see Adventure Time characters recreated in a mouse game.
Everyone had straw hats and smoke pipes.
It was so much simpler back than.

I Wish I Remembered What It Was like Back Then.....I Do Remember tho I kept spamming boxes liek "wat is dis do?" Like A Noob XD Thankfully no one called me One Though :)

Dang Computers outo correct -.- Like why does it do outo correct, if it cant even speel outo?? Auto**

First week was pretty good my friend had helped me through it all he got me a cakehat and the badge gave me cheese codes for cheese and gave me advice on how to build even though i was called noob lol i learned pretty quickly how to wall jump it took a little while for me to learn how to fall and jump. I had NEVER bought an item in the shop (i only spent cheese on redistributing) until i had about 7000 cheese. I didn't ever touched the shop until one day my friend had came over and i just had the cake hat on as always about level 60? He had told me to go to my shop and was surprised that i hadn't got anything which at the time it didn't matter because i only played when he was online and he made me pick my favorite fur to buy and i picked the sun fur <3 It is the first thing i've ever bought and I am proud that i got it.
Time flies.

I found Transformice through the Wolf Quest forums. Back then the Transformice login page looked like Micegirl still does (look it up). I was like, "alright. let's give this a go." The first thing that many people called me when I logged in was "noob." However, I didn't know what a "noob" was and wasn't offended. lmao

I had no idea how to use those thing-ma-jigs most people call "nails" but I call them "knots." Then, one day while messing around in vanilla, a pro named "Tartarrus" helped me out with dem knots and I was like, "ooohhhhhhhhhhhhh tartarrus you're my hero." After that, I figured out how to friend people and I friended all the "famous" pros. I deleted those people a year later, when they left tfm. :( Sad.

Until I was level 30 or so, I had NO IDEA that skills existed, so when I figured out how to use them I was SO ELATED. I was like, "heck yeah, gonna be a wind shaman and FLY." Back then all I wanted to do was fly like all dem pros.

Walljumping I learned a long long time after I joined tfm. My little brother Tenodera figured it out before I did so I just copied what his fingers did on the keyboard. BAck then it was also extremely popular to "air mort," or type "/mort" while falling to your death. Extremely annoying. I never tried it.

At one point the soulmate system was introduced. A random person liked me for a day then couldn't remember who I was the second day. My first ever ex! His name was "wienerdog" or something like that.

The next time I had a soulmate

doesn't apply because by then I knew the ropes. :D Cheers!

My little brother told me I should try out Transformice. I've seen him play for a bit and I thought it was really boring at first glance. When I made an account, I went to the room where my brother was and he was whispering me and i'd be going back and forth from each of the rooms in our house asking him how to whisper back and how to spawn 'boards' and 'weights' and everything else. He was like, "you are supposed to wait until you're the shaman, then you have to help the mice get the cheese. I replied back to him, "That's bullshit I don't want to help the rats" and he shrugged. About an hour later I got off and about a few months later, I looked it up again and it eventually led me to make this account.
