This is for intended use with someone who tends to redistribute a lot. If you're a level 89, it costs 89 to redistribute. I'm sure somebody who tends to switch it up a lot would rather be able to pick two sets and spend 250 cheese, than redistribute, say 10 times in one month, which is already way more costly than spending 250 cheese on a preset. Though, even if you still don't like the idea of having the presets - like I said, it's optional use. Meaning it can be added to the game, and you aren't required to spend the 250 cheese to have the feature.

but i feel like the cost for a preset tab should be... say, "10 times player level", and every time you level up, it could cost 10 cheese to add an available skill slot to the chosen preset. so if i were level 51, it would be 510 cheese. and if you level up a few times to 55, it would cost 40 more cheese to be your level equivalent.

but it doesn't need to be 10 times your level, it could be 5 times or something, but to the people who play a lot, like me, 1070 cheese isn't that much. i don't know..

I can understand that! but, longterm wise, using the preset option is cheaper. Say you're level 80, and within two weeks you have redistributed 12 times. That costs you 960 in total. Whereas, you could pay 250 (not a set in stone price. Just an idea/something I would use), have two different/your most used set ups, and not have to worry about redistributing again - unless you decide to change your setups.

YES, this. After level 60-70 it just becomes a pain to redistribute, especially if you do it multiple times in a short period. I just hit 80 a couple of days ago, and before that, I had to change skills a couple of times after realizing I could do without half of physicist...
I'd like this idea over redistributing. Plus it becomes a pain to have to spend several minutes remembering where you just had your skills at and actually redistributing.
