Definitely against the cheese only furs. I can understand the hats. I worked hard for the 4,001 hat in the past, and I started saving for the 3,001 hat they recently released. It was rather disheartening when they started releasing the cheese only furs. Especially since I'm an avid fur badge collector.

I guess I already give up on farming cheese since they keep adding more that I know will definitely be impossible for me. It's a shame since I really liked these furs. Lol.

Edit: And I can understand the accomplishment some players may feel for having a fur that their fraises-buying friends can't obtain, but with fraises people can still easily perform their random acts of kindness and gift someone a fur that they thought they'd never get.

I've had mini giveaways, and have gifted a few random players some furs and other items they really wanted. This cannot be done with these types of things. :/

As someone who's bought fraises, and saved cheese, and LIKES the idea of cheese-only furs, you're all kind of missing the point.

I've bought or been gifted a lot of furs, almost all of them in shop, and wearing them gets me sooooo much hate or people spam me with whispers begging to be gifted (enjoy telling 10+ complete strangers no every single day edit I gift people all the time, probably over 30 furs, I just don't appreciate strangers begging for one for nothing in return). The cheese-only furs don't have that effect. Instead, people are like "damn girl".

I'm not a farming type, literally sunday or saturday of this past weekend is the first time I've ever played in a room at 4 or under people, because I wanted to take advantage of the double cheese weekend.

They are a reward, you have to work for them. Yeah, buying one to unlock the other is annoying at their price point, but people (myself included) will still do it.

I got A LOT of people begging for furs in whispers as well, I think that literally everyone that have a lot of furs gets asked that. If you do not like those messages being sent to you, you could simply disable whispers for none friends and if it's friends asking.. well.. then why are you friends with them haha. No offense.

First of everything I apologize for my english, I don't write nor speak a good english because it's not my native language and I'm trying to learn as far as possible.

I think you are not obliged to buy furs. If you want to buy them that's your problem, it is the same thing as furs that can be bought for fraises, you can save money and buy fraises, in this case you can save CHEESE. Also I think things must win, so if you do not work for the fur you want to have, you won't have it.

I support the opinion that furs are so hard to buy, 15,000 cheese for a fur is too much and adding that you must buy the other two furs to unlock the third one makes harder. I think admins must thought things before do, but being honest, I don't think they will change the prices nor the form to unlock the furs (I hope this doesn't seems like I'm attacking the company, I don't want to sound like that).

The only thing we can do is save our cheese, play a lot of hours, buy cheese in the village shops, trade cheese for inventory things and repeat everything till we have the 30,000 cheese.

Considering, for the 3 years I've been here I've only gotten 40k cheese, the prices are ridiculous. I was mad that they weren't available for frasies but just ended up not caring enough to get them anyway. so eh

How about people who want to have something that takes lots of hard work, and no amount of money, to buy? Having it available in fraises absolutely takes that away.

You don't really have to play more; you just need to be more efficient. If you only gather 100 cheese in an hour, that's way too slow. With the new feather coins, I'd say decent farmers can earn around 200/hr. At that rate, farming 1 hour per day would get you all three cheese-only furs in less than half a year.

If you're able to replicate my record-breaking run on a consistent basis with 4 mice, you can get about 250 cheese/hour with feather coins. Two hours of that a day, you can get all three cheese furs in as little as two months. Four hours of that per day, and you'll get all three furs in 30 days. That's not really all that long to work.

The problem here is not that the furs are too expensive. It is clearly that they are not worth your time to invest in, and that's perfectly fine. Farming is boring for most people, but in my opinion it is a thing of absolute beauty if everyone cooperates.

Meli said they were created as a way for dedicated players to show off without having to cash money. It's not really "unfair" -- there are oodles of other furs you can buy with fraises. Some might argue the cheese-only furs are uglier, too. I think the concept is nice; it gives people a chance to work towards something. Farming isn't for everybody, but if you want to make the effort then go ahead.

My only complaints are that you need to buy them in tiers to unlock the next fur. They should let you buy whichever fur you want without having to waste, for example, 5k of 10k cheese just to get to the second fur (or god forbid, the 15k third fur.) The prices are also a little high too considering you get one cheese per round.

But not offering a fraises option is a personal company decision that doesn't really matter. There are plenty of other items to cash in on within the game's shop. I find it kind of admirable they would give up the chance to get more money just to offer furs to players who want to show off they can farm a lot of cheese, tbh.

I agree with the preview two posts, by Seeteegee and Vanitasu, completely. Especially this "It's not really "unfair" -- there are oodles of other furs you can buy with fraises."

My friends don't ask. Thanks. That also wasn't my point at all, it was just an added bonus. While wearing the cheese-only furs, I get spammed considerably less. And the peace and quiet is nice.

The cheese-only furs are something WE ALL have to save for. You have so many option on ways to save! You can exchange sham coins, exchange tickets, trade other players, farm, or just play the normal game and it will eventually add up!

I wanted to have chese only cheese for a very long time (since i created my acc)... because i never bought fraises, and mice think i buy them with frais, and they beg me for gifts which is annoying.... so i wanted to have the cheese furs, but...i seem to like the cat fur more than the wind fur right now... and the fire fur is sooo expensive i won't ever get it.

i wish they made 5k-8k cheese furs, but not over 8k, srsly....

Well, in my opinion, farming like you do is extremely boring and kinda take away the fun of just playing and chilling with your friends.

But I think that this shouldn't be done with the wind, leaf and fire furs. It should rather be done with new furs that will look totally AWESOME to give players an actual reason to buy them and save up the cheese, because the latest furs with CLOTHES on them look terrible in my opinion. The admins have always said that they wouldn't add shirts and dresses and stuff on Transformice, so this work-around really angers me.

Funny thing is I remember when I suggested a fur and all I got was a reply from one of the admins saying it's not "natural"

TFM doesn't just want the players getting their money jars and easily buying furs ect.
They want you to experience the game too, and you're basically saying your lazy by putting this out.

There are five items in the shop you can't buy with fraises. The cheese-only furs are three of them. Eeveewings gets it.

I can deal with it being cheese only furs if I so have to, yes. But the prices are WAY TOO expensive and having to unlock the furs is just dumb in my opinion and probably for most people. I think it's extremely dumb that you have to save cheese to buy a fur you might not like just to save the same amount again plus more to get the fur you actually want.

Ein, it's part of the game. They decided to make it that way. You're not obligated to get it. Just like not everyone can afford to master turn-arounds, corner-jumping, to do bootcamps for the titles, if you can't get those furs, don't get them. But if you really want them, then get started working for them instead of ranting about it here. They probably won't change it. I understand that the furs are, as you call them, "WAY TOO expensive", but a bunch of players already have them.

They didn't mean every items to be accessible to everyone. But with enough effort, you can get it. You're not obligated to play a lot either. It's just to reward those who do. It's like if you're trying to buy a trophy awarded for a certain competition.

If you work for it, you deserve it, and you can have it.
