Potatoes are the reward currency for the L'Escadron - they host more events based on the forums and for participation + if you succeed in one of their events you are rewarded with a potato (I dont know much more than this since it is a FR based team/event). So participants were automatically given 3 potatoes for their participation. I took the liberty to not include it in the EN translated version because it would not make sense as this is not a feature done on the EN forums, but I did link to their team thread so more can be read up there :)! Sorry for any confusion!
