Finally there is a new Map Making contest! Due to the long downtime of the forums, we have decided to merge June and July contest into a summer one. If possible, the cheese prizes will be raised a bit as a compensation.

Unfortunately we can't provide an image this time. I like this design, though, especially since we can now use community flags and one thread is enough. By the way, this is an international thread for now, we would appreciate if you could speak English in it, though.


<font size="16" color="#8EFF7F">RULES - INFORMATION</font>

• Please submit your maps posting the @-codes, we will not accept XMLs.
• You can only submit one map per category, that's a total of four maps maximum.
• Editing posts is allowed until submissions are closed.
• All winning maps will be temporarily P1'd after one month and voted upon separately.
• You are not allowed to submit maps of higher rotation types (P3 - P9).
• Voting will be done by the Map Crew for all categories.
• Submission time is from 10 June to 5 July.
• Winners will be announced on 17 July.

A few bootcamp maps contain shortcuts that allow you to complete them quicker or skip some obstacles. With this category we ask you to create a racing that has several ways to get ahead in it, some of them being shortcuts. What is more, these shortcuts should not always be too obvious.


<font size="16" color="#FFD97F">Category 2 - Environment Map</font>

Maps submitted for this category ought to depict a particular environment chosen by the map maker. Examples for such could be an office or the jungle. Mice have to go through this environment playing the map. Although you should focus on the design itself in the first place, gameplay should not be neglected.


<font size="16" color="#FFD97F">Category 3 - Freestyle</font>

As always, here is the monthly freestyle category. Copy the given Xml code and load it in map editor. You can now start building your map, at which you must not change any ground values and properties. This month's Xml is featuring snow ground as it has hardly ever been used recently.


<font size="16" color="#FFD97F">Category 4 - Morph Map</font>

Make a map that morphs into a different one! This means your map must not look the same at the beginning as it does at the end. Maps for this category have got to contain dynamic grounds, and the difference between beginning and end should be considerable. Have fun!

A Xml deste mês tem como especial o piso "Neve", que não tem sido utilizado muito ultimamente.

Algunos mapas de bootcamp contienen atajos que te permiten completarlos más rápido o permiten saltarte algunos obstáculos. Los mapas presentados para esta categoría deben representar un ambiente particupar elegido por el creador del mapa. Ejemplos podrían ser una oficina en una selva. Los ratones tienen que pasar por este entorno jugando el mapa. A pesar de que debería de centrarse en el diseño en si mismo en el primer lugar, el modo de juego no debería estar descuidado.

Como siempre, aquí está la categoría de estilo libre mensual. Copia el código XML dado y carga el mapa en el editor. Ahora puedes empezar a construir tu mapa, en el cual no debes cambiar ningún valor de las superficies ni propiedades. El XML de este mes está caracterizado por suelos de nieve ya que apenas han sido usados recientemente.

Veel bootcamps hebben kleine afsnijwegen die je obstakels laten omzeilen of iets sneller laten zijn. Bij deze categorie vragen we je een racingkaart te maken die meerdere routes heeft, sommige ervan moeten afsnijwegen zijn. De afsnijwegen moeten niet altijd de vreemd zijn.

Maps die je voor deze categorie maakt moeten een bepaald ''landschap'' hebben. Voorbeelden voor het landschap zijn een kantoor of bijvoorbeeld de jungle. Muizen moeten zich voortbewegen over de kaart. Je moet je natuurlijk wel focussen op het design van de kaart, natuurlijk mag je de gameplay niet laten verwaarlozen.


<font size="16" color="#FFD97F">Categorie 3 - Freestyle (Vrije Stijl)</font>

Zoals altijd, is hier de maandelijkse freestyle categorie. Kopier de gegeven Xml code en laad hem in de map editor. Je kan nu starten met het verder maken van je map, je mag geen waarden en eigenschappen van de 2 gegeven gronden veranderen. De Xml van deze maand bevat de sneeuw grond een grond die haast nog niet word gebruikt.

Наконец-то наступило время для нового конкурса «Map Making Contest». В связи с проблемами на нашем старом форуме, мы решили объединить Июньский и Июльский конкурсы вместе в один — летний. Если будет возможность, то призы будут немного увеличены в качестве компенсации.

Как обычно, мы даем вам ежемесячный Xml код, который вы должны загрузить в Эдиторе карт. После этого, вы можете начинать творить вашу карту, в которой вы не имеете права менять значения граундов или положение. Данный код включает в себя заснеженный граунд, т.к. он едва использовался ранее.

Создайте карту, которая во время прохождения изменяется! Это значит, что ваша карта должна выглядить по-разному в начале и конце карты. Ваше творение в этой категории должно иметь динамические граунды, а разница между началом и концом — значительная.
