I've never seen that map before, and I haven't heard of Vargamaci's name for well a long time so I wouldn't have randomly looked that map up. If the concept of my map is similar to theirs, it's a coincidence.

There are a few key differences between the maps though. My map is for P8, whereas Varga's map has only one shaman. Varga's map is way too difficult for any room except for room shaman so it shouldn't be P4'd or P1'd. My map is easier because the grounds in the centre don't collide with shaman objects so the map plays more smoothly. Also, Vargamarci's mechanism is huge and laggy which is both unnecessary and annoying.

You could argue that Vargamarci's map could be edited to fix these things but wouldn't that just be copying my map? I don't think that that map was intended to have two shamans, nor have those grounds changed. Changing it to edit those things would be copying my map.

Also, I think this month's maps are better than last month's ^^ They might not be the best that the Map Contest has seen but they are an improvement from last time.

You're right. That map is really complicated to be p1 or p4~p8.
