I dont see how it's time lost as they are probably taking their time by trying not to rush things to probably get prepared, especially after the contest

So instead, a new fur will be added next week, and its very likely to be the Tanuki fur that won first place in the Create a Fur competition.

I dont think it would have anything to do with black friday sales in the game, I think it's just black friday overall. If i remember they did the same thing last year for Christmas because no one had money after buying presents for friends and family.

Like said, they are waiting until people get paid again after people have gone and done shopping this previous weekend. And on top of that, we just had a huge contest. They are getting the christmas event ready and trying to space out when to release the next items around a good time that would benefit the players.

Wait so is the tanuki fur confirmed to be next week? Because I have saved up alot of cheese and is currently deciding whether to buy the lemur fur on sale this week >.< if so, does anyone know the exact date that the new fur would be released? I want to evaluate which fur is more worth it for me to purchase.
