Nope. They were good enough for higher rotation already, so I guess they got permed. I don't know if they're still considered for winning the category.

Like dbm said, some maps are perfect for a category but not the contest's categories. Likewise, a map can be perfect for the contest categories but not suitable for any of the rotation categories.

My first submission to category 4, @2377177, was accepted into P6 rotation though it really would've failed in the contest because it doesn't fit the category very well. Fortunately I revoked it at the last minute and replaced it with another map which fits the category better but most likely won't ever be higher than P1.

So just because entries might be P0, P1, or P6 doesn't mean they necessarily will or will not win their respective categories in this contest.

If a map is permed after submission time, it will still be counted.

If it's permed after being submitted but before submission time is over, it probably won't be allowed because it would take a lot of time and effort to check a single map.
