It really depends on what site you go on as well as the environment. Kids will look at what other people are doing and think, "Oh, hey! He seems really popular for doing that thing. I should do that too. That way I'll get lots of friends! :DD" and the like. I know that (when I was younger) there was an educational forum (which is now closed or moved to a URL I don't know of) and the majority of the people there were pretty mature. Note that this was a forum for kids who were at least under 18--it was a forum for things like primary and secondary school, homework help, etc.. Perhaps it was because it was an educational website or the atmosphere, but I rarely came across the spammers and flammers. Sure, there were people with bad grammar and stuff, but native speakers have that too and they're not as immature as some of the kids on here.

English is actually the second language I've spoken, and I feel more comfortable with it than with mine (I don't know why): Spanish.
Most people don't know my country where I live right now (my country is in Central America but I live in Turkey now), except for one of my mother's friend.

AND, I only go on TFM for the Forum OR friends, nothing else...

I also think that the people who are older than the limit, like twenty? should get a job, transformice is for younger people. I've seen 13 year olds spam up chat boxes with inapropriate content aren't aware of the influence they're giving on younger children....
Just remember, if it isn't something you'd say to your grandma, don't even mention it at all. Cause I know everyone would be embarassed if their parents saw what they were talking online about, and I wish chatting would be more just talking about how things have been, not other freaky stuff.

Wow, forums are saying one thing and ToS is saying another. Clarification and updating would be nice from staff.

When I checked the Terms of Service on the game itself, I'm like, 85% certain that it said the version that Suwako stated. I think the web version is just outdated, which would especially make sense because it seems quite difficult to actually find the web version, (and also that they can't really enforce the whole 13-18 thing).

Web version is just at the bottom of the TFM website although I guess it must be outdated after looking at the game v.

If they really only wanted over 13s/16s/18s or whatever they would at least do a DoB thing when you register. :x

And, yes, I'm gonna agree with Lparents. I've seen people who are like 20 nd 30 years old playing this game for people younger than them. THEY should get a job or something than play the game. I mean, they are old enough to take care of themselves but, I really don't know why 30-year-olds play it... Maybe I think they would just like to troll us or something but 30-year-olds, seriously??? I don't think THIS is an appropiate game for that age... They better play the Lottery or something.

i mean why cant they? Why do you want to stop them from doing like ... You don't have the rights to control who plays it.
Maybe you dont know but parents play it, sometimes is to help their children ( i met one before)

The game is rated E for everyone. You shouldn't say that a group of people can't play. It's just wrong

This is closely related to the "adults shouldn't play games they need to get a life" argument.

Adults can have fun too, they can play games and things like Transformice if they want. Excuse us for having a good time and enjoying what we love to do.
