Occasionally it just crashes unfortunately and doesn't restart itself. When this is the case, it's up to one of the admins to relaunch it - although it's currently 3am for them and they won't be getting into the office for another 6 or so hours.

It seems like that 7 minute thing was given up on? Before when CP went down, it would reconnect for a second or two every 7-10 minutes before crashing again, but that hasn't been happening these past couple weeks.

Spawn death exists since official racing came up as far as I remember '-' I just wouldn't tell u that racing is THE REASON for the bug to exist, but players started to suffer by it while they were playing racing.

I believe this happen cause you aren't supposed to use "+" at your nickname for fun.

"+" exists for a reason.

Sure, but it is allowed as input and could be handled properly instead of crashing the client.

The crash part, agree. But not that you can have a "+" at your nick. Having a "+" means you were an extinction player b4 the migration. So you wont be able to have a "+" at your Tfm account's nickname anymore, since you're creating this account after this migration, know what I mean?

I know what the purpose of the + character is, but it's technically allowed when specifying a guest nickname in the log in screen. What I mean is that there should be a proper error message saying it's invalid input instead of kicking the player from the server without any information.

Yeah, it shouldn't be crashing like that.
Normally the + and other non letter characters were unable to be typed in the nickname field at all, so I guess it's the server's response to not being able to process +s in guest names.

Doesn't seem like that big of a deal, you could just refresh and try again without a plus, but still interesting to note!
