well, i'm certainly not your friend so i don't have to worry about that.

but my advice is that instead of deleting them on the spot, you should ask them what their username used to be, and if they give you an answer yet you still don't remember them, then they really shouldn't call you your friend

1. that was a joke, I'm not going to defriend all my friends, I'm so popular that would take like 2 hours.
2. short term memory doesn't work like that, if I remember a name that I've known for a long time, that's fine, but if a new one pops up I'm gonna be all like "who are you?" the next time they log on after I've already found out who they were before their name change.
3. you're not my friend as you said, and so I'm not sure why you're concerned even if I did actually defriend all my friends.

It doesn't affect them, all of your stats and your CFM profile will get switched across to the new account name. You may have to login with your old username however, I'm not sure about that.

You can't save your + if you're going to name change.

I was just making sure it's clear that this wasn't an existing feature that the person who was asking just didn't see, it was brand new. I changed mine as soon as I heard.
