Left as is: @2712448 - Sekui - Thank you for applying the suggested edits! However, the paths are still a tad unbalanced, a way you could fix this would be to lower the cheese a small but down, perhaps to the starting edge of the ice and then move the ground inwhich where the Shaman spawns to the left, and make the ground more wide so it can hold a plank in a more stable manner. @7068699 - Rkubi - Hi Rkubi, unfortunately for your map, due to the current structure/placement of the grounds, the map has been deemed too unexciting to build for, this is primarily due to the fact that the easiest and most likely way for the Shaman to build for it would be via a bridge like structure. As a result, this would be very repetitive and monotonous to build for. @7035745 - Mythofcheez - It isn't that bad of a map, truth be told. It's just awkward to build on and ahs too many things for the Shaman to avoid such as the cloud and vertical grounds, it creates an atmosphere that doesn't make it fun nor exciting to build for, unfortunately. It's a lot to build towards to with such a limited amount of space, which can be found more or less in the center of the map. @7016352 - Amaciadoo - This map can be roughly completed in only a few planks, which as a result can make it extremely unexciting to build for, as it doesn't inspire nor provoke the Shaman to be creative regarding their builds whatsoever. I understand you tried to add multiple ways to complete the map, however one solution will be used very frequently. Water is a poor choice of a obstacle in P4 maps because it slows down the time to build, and overall is a plain mess. I'd advise you to perhaps be more creative with your next map, add more obstacles, but nothing too irritating, etc. @2059472 - Rikkeshang - I understand that you tried to make it somewhat of a challenge for the Shaman to encounter, seeing all of the vertical grounds, however they are all the same obstacle to avoid, therefore making it boring, nonetheless. It is a easy solution as well and doesn't require that much thought process into it. @7035844 - I_Eat_Cheese - While this map is more or less pleasing to the eye, mice having the ability to clear/run half through the map makes it very easy for the Shaman to build, and requires less effort on their part, actually. The map seems to only support a monosolution, or at least a few solutions however with the same concept or idea, making it repetitive. @6963160 - Pjfsamora - While this map does have a nice balance between obstacles, it only seems to support bridge-like solutions which can become awfully boring and repetitive in the end, especially for Shamans. There isn't any challenge for them to face, either due to this. My advice to you would be to move the bottom left cloud up a tad, or make all of the ones you have a tad bit longer, and diagonal. This will create the perfect balance between using valuable space and making it so the solution isn't just a bridge. @6672860 - Grimmaro - While the map is quite enjoyable, there is a few things that I'd like to see implemented before you submit it again! The paths are a bit unbalanced, primarily due to the vertical ice ground you have in the center of the map, if you could shorten the length of it, this may make it more tolerable and easier to build from the bottom. @6334025 - Jfrl - It has been proven to be possible to be able to complete without the use of any nails, which is unfortunate. This map hardly challenges the Shaman whatsoever and it's possible for the Shaman to avoid the dynamic grounds by simply putting a long plank, this takes away your entire concept and idea behind the map. My advice to you would be to firstly, fix the beforementioned problem of being able to cover the ground with a long plank and perhaps even put more obstacles, to avoid the whole simplicity that was behind the map to begin with. @7068963 - Zeleny - I'm quite surprised with your choice of a obstacle, it's something I hadn't really seen submitted before, it's a nice new idea, needless to say. However, unfortunately for this map, every solution is nearly of the same structure, which can actually become quite repetitive in the end, this is primarily due to the excessive amount of space you have given the Shaman and the use of clouds. @7066174 - Kwf - While both of the paths are balanced, none of them really challenge nor provoke the Shaman to be creative in any regard. All of the solutions are nearly the same as well, even if they take the other path. My advice to you would be to move the ground inwhich the Shaman spawns a bit closer to the upper left hand corner of the map, and shift the cheese to the right a tad diagonally. @7067636 - Kuot - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH @7069410 - Pastelao150 - I like the idea behind the map, I truly do. However, it forces the mice or the Shaman to build in a certain way which isn't fun nor exciting at all. While it can provoke them to be creative in some regard, the map is also more or less difficult for divine mode Shamans to encounter due to the lack of stable grounds. @7069434 - Getuliofilho - Wrong category @7069730 - Tioyudis - It's a really nice map, and I like the design of it all in all, however in some areas, it is a tad bit cramped (this can be found when building towards the cheese, and the vertical ground found there.) If you were to shift up the entire left area a small bit, and maybe flip over the ground where the mice spawns, that'd give us that little challenge we need. @5787615 - Framnm - The more than likely result of building for this map will be in a bridge-like structure, and as stated in previous reviews, this results in nothing exciting nor inspiring for the Shaman whatsoever, there is no challenge either. I'd suggest to you to perhaps start over with a new map, with more obstacles (nothing too vexing, obviously) but just enough to make the map exciting to build for. @1354923 - Jotatavo - The use of defilante death coins is still a concern for this map, as they force the Shaman to build around the space, which can make the build much longer thana it needs to be. Either way, the map is very simplistic and this includes the solutions, looking past the death coins. They are all roughly similar to a bridge, I guess. I suggest you to (if you don't want to remove these coins) to at least remove the last two on both of the ends, so it offers the Shaman more space. @7067884 - Poissonkiss - Can be completed in a manner of only a few planks. It isn't fun, nor exciting to build for whatsoever. That being said, it also doesn't challenge the Shaman at all and it doesn't make them resourceful. @6803555 - Thermitez - Wrong category. @7012074 - Awesomehobo - Can be completed in a manner of only a few planks. It isn't fun, nor exciting to build for whatsoever. That being said, it also doesn't challenge the Shaman at all and it doesn't make them resourceful. The water as well isn't a good obstacle to have in P4 maps as it slows down building, or it can kill the mice. In your case, it just doesn't have any use at all. @7057000 - Mquk - I admire that you gave the divine mode Shamans some help in this map by the crevice and diagonal ground, whether this be intentional or not. Unfortunately for this map, while there's a few ways it can be completed, majority of all of these solutions result in a bridge, and I'm sure you know what that means. Perhaps if you could lower the ground (and the cheese) a tad, and make the ground inwhich the other mice spawn up a bit (you can remove that extra wooden ground that's nearly at the top of the map as well.) P1'ed: @5899996 - Zombiewd - Thank you for applying some edits! Unfortunately, many solutions that the Shaman make will be very long and in a diagonal manner, I appreciate how you tried to alter that ending slightly by having the vertical grounds, but as a result to this, it gives the Shaman a sense of being cramped. Nonetheless, you put a lot of work into this map and it's tolerable. P1 will do. Will be discussed: None Ignored: None Dernière modification le 1488511860000 |
