Hey guys. I made this map like last week ish for christmas at my tribe house.

This map looks weird when divided in two halves, its one of those maps where you have to play it to get the whole picture. Maybe I can stitch together the two screens just for this map.

Any feedback? How to make better?

I already know I messed up on the logs for the fireplace and the curtains. Maybe tommorow I'll make a non-christmas version of it. I already have a new window design in mind.

i suggest a wap where there is a mouse paw handing a giant letter with an M stamp on it into a giant mailbox and inside tha mailbox has multiple rooms with closable doors, a room with a hot tub with a shower, some bedrooms, a giant tv screen, and a party room with lazer beams.

Snow man hat eh. Idk, maybe next year. Took a look at your map, if you want it reviewed submit to mat. I'll have hammy review it tho since I think she can help you better since its all art. I was going to do a similiar window design for a new map lol. For the pic above, I was going to make a custom christmas tree too but I got too lazy ;P you did a great job on that.

I tried putting it back into the editor and it says invalid. The safe XML copies I made incase something like this happened is invalid as well. WTF. Lost like 7 hours of work, too depressed to finish this now. QQ.

I think it's just because the XML's too long. Tig obviously didn't extend the limit when he added the joints.

Yeah, I think you're right.

So for anyone else out there, when you're close to the 20k/20k limit, and your nearly done with the map itself, don't save the XML and work on it later, export the map. Then finish the map by loading the code in. That's what I did to avoid the invalid bs.

Anyway, that map I lost due to this I re-made.
Basically a non christmas version of my other map shown above.

Part 1:



I had to kill some detail on the custom white sofa, and the fire due to it barely exceeding the 20k limit. That also killed my idea of a falling meteorite coming towards the balcony.

Ideas for future maps? How to improve upon this one? (Anything but curtain, couche, or fireplace, since I would have to re-do the entire map pretty much)

Um. Love the creativity, and it's certainly possible. But I don't like making tribe houses with grass grounds, well for the HOUSE part. I guess I can make a wood house, then a jungle as the back yard, etc. +1
