I don't really mind, it just irritates me if I get stuck with that one guy that is afk, or the noob who really has no idea how to control the keyboard, or if there's a troll going in the opposite direction of the cheese...
Otherwise, I'm good, but only once have I gotten first in a soul map, and that was when I was souled with the shaman.

I'm usually the one that takes the danger and do the hardest part so we can get the first, but if it is doabl without a soul I just go ahead knowing we both will die

Soulmate maps are a test of teamwork with you and another person. It doesn't help when the soulmate "pro's" a map then runs for the hole leaving you to get the cheese yourself. People like them shouldn't really be on teamwork maps. I've had this experience before, and it is annoying when you get the AFK soulmates, too. You need to wait for 30 seconds so they can die off or you have to /mort sincethere's no other way around it...

Transformice is all about teamwork, skill and strategy. But there's none of this.
