My company logic brain just activated.

For the exp system they might add in experience boosters, or experience packages for fraises.
Meaning you could pay to get stuff quicker. If this is the case can this be either comfirmed or discharged as quick as possible?

Due to the fact I think boosters might be decent but just paying for it, might de-value the whole system. Also boosters are time based and will force motivation to play the game more on a shorter time period. So that can actually compensate for the making it easier part, in the actual enjoyment.

Doesn't the new players have a rough enough time shamming. They see how all the "pros" do it, and try to copy, but always gets called noob. It's a miracle people even stay through this stage. And now we are making it even worse for them.

If someone's gonna stop playing this game then they're gonnna stop playing this game - this update isn't going to make it more likely for new players to not want to stay. It's not making it worse for new players, it's just going to add new stuff for everyone. That's not a problem being introduced in this update at all.

When I joined and I saw players with cool items and who were really good at being the shaman it made me want to keep playing this game so that I could get to that point. And while this is making the gap between 'pro' and 'noob' bigger, it's not making it anymore difficult for new players, it's just making it more fun / easier for experienced players.

Maps probably will gain difficulty but maps that are too hard for normal rooms get taken out of standard rotation (and there's /room shaman for players who want to play harder maps)
Also new players get faced with maps that are too hard for them all the time, they just eventually learn how to handle those maps, that's not a new problem at all.

This update is meant to give you some reward for playing other than hats, not make us the next Zynga by selling you ways to evolve faster.

The booster thing got me thinking and maybe scroll up maps may come out. I don't know but would be nice though.

As many have said, it is not necessary to do something related to running fast or large / double jumps. I think the idea is not so good.

I think this is a very good idea and COMPLETELY necessary. Being a shaman and being able to have a speed and jump height advantage will be extremely helpful.
Here's a instance:

-If you, the shaman are building a bridge in order to get to another platform and you're aware that if you make the bridge any longer people will be able to rush to the other side, as a result causing several deaths, BUT being able to jump higher and run faster you'll be able to make the leep of faith that nobody else would be able to. As a result you'll be able to make a safe build for the maximum amount of saves.

I expect some special items that get unlocked over the progression of your shaman and what "specialization" you went for. What kind of items? I have no clue. Maybe a bomb, chocolate/ice planks and boxes, maybe some shaman effects for spawning things and just being shaman. Who knows?

I don't really want to see things like faster spawning, etc. I feel like that would just ruin the game-play and alot of maps.

Edit: Slooowly leaning to the side of looking forward to it.

I'm always a sucker for RPG's, too. As a young kid, around 5, I wanted to try RuneScape, but my family wouldn't let me.

Anyways, I agree with you on this. More information would have been a lot nicer, but they probably haven't planned all of it out yet.

As for the gameplay, I don't like the idea of faster spawning, like you said.

I also want new Shaman tattoos. c:
