Vogul a dit : I think he's right. New people come. so that's why you see a lot of new people. Sometimes mice with 50 000 cheese quit tfm. |

My friends are never on anymore. But with that, neither am I. I only get on a few times a month because none of my friends are on anymore and nothing feels the same. :\ I might as well just leave TFM due to this. |

If people weren't so disrespectful to others for no reason or because they are simply new, this game would be more popular. |

Guys... people don't QUIT Transformice. They simply realize that they can get stuff done that actually matters in real life. |

Lots of people join everyday, and people just leave. Thats how online games work ! And after leaving an online game, people move to a new online game |

Thepvpking a dit : It's the new players that disrespect the newer players who then in return disrespect the players newer than them. |

Thepvpking a dit : That's how any online game community is anymore. Hardly anything new with Transformice. The main difference with TFM is the really low age demographic. That being said, I doubt there'd be more players even if everyone was throwing glitter and rainbows and hearts everywhere. TFM hit a plateau for high population, and now we need some fresh content added to the game to keep long time players around and bring both new and old players to the game. Guess we'll see what happens. :) |

The amount of public rooms in action seems to be in decline. What is the staff up to? We need more players. |

Devhyn a dit : While it is true that online communities are not always friendly I have never experienced the extreme amount of hatred that occurs here in tfm in other games i play. Sure, i've seen some terrible language in other games but in those other games that sort of language and behaviour is something that gets delt with. I've never played another game and saw people threaten to rape other players just because they didn't win a race or get the top score but it happens here. It just seems that many people take "trolling is allowed" to mean they can treat people however they want with little to no reprocussions for their actions and that opinion frequently seems to be true from what i've experienced and observed. I can understand why players leave. It isn't fun playing a game where you are constantly being criticized and many people do just that. Particularly to new players who do not know how to sham, even when they are obviously trying. Transformice isn't exactly the easiest game to pick up - the tutorials are not in depth and they do not teach the skills that new players will need. |

Mizithra a dit : I agree with every word written here. The stance/policy on trolling and language has always been sort of overlapping, and while that would've been fine for a game with older people, this game has become very popular with surprisingly young people. Another cause of tfm feeling smaller is the fact that the game's changed. Few people are still in numbered rooms, as there are so many alternatives. On top of that new players automatically spawn in vanilla. In normally numbered rooms more old people leave than new people come in, creating this false sense of the game becoming smaller. I've written a thread about that before - Topic-280123 |

I just think that the admins motivation towards the game has dropped facing how it was at the start. I understand that now its a bigger company and all those, but some simple implementations could have been made to keep the players , e.g. a better filtre ( by this I mean that every time you try to swear something, you`d be blocked from doing so instead of censoring) and of course a tutorial |

Xnics a dit : This whole "fraise" thing turn the game into a "Get a life" way, despite the fact that it give advantage to some player who can affort them. I totally agree with you Xnics. |
