I was hoping this was more of a thing where people could gift you the stuff on your wishlist.

this was literally what i was thinking when i first saw this! i would totally be for it if that were the case, but it doesn't seem like that at all.
players (or players only on their friends list) could see their wishlist via the friends menu or from their profile. there would also be an option to gift the player the item from their wishlist.
that'd be super neat.

like you can make a wishlist of all the items you currently want, and other players can view your wishlist, and if they want, they can gift you that item, or you could work for it.
