Wallpushing is mainly used by bootcampers in bootcamp maps to go from one wall to the other wall as long jumping my not suffice (Corner jumping may also not suffice depending on what surface it is and where the wall is located).
You just basically push from one wall by wall jumping very quickly off that wall to get to the other wall. It's hard to explain and it's hard to master ;P

Oh that. I know that now.

We removed some frames to make the game less laggy, and not just a bit. Putting it back the way it was would bring the lag back.

Right, it would bring the lag back for SOME players, not like everyone lagged. And if you mess up something this big (whole physics of the game) it affects EVERY player, thus you should immediately restore it to how it was before you made it less laggy. After that you can continue trying how to get it less laggy without screwing the whole physics up.

There was a nice suggestion about having the option to disable decorations, and maybe making a "simple mode" for the game where the ground textures aren't as quality. Maybe like how the old ones were? I do want to say something about disabling joint art too but I'm not sure how that would work.

Also there's probably other ways to do so too.

Oh and by the way, the physics still aren't fixed. At this point in time I really think you should get some experienced players that know how the old mechanics worked to test these "patches" that keep getting made, since there doesn't seem to be any form of a back-up.

Friction is messed up, for example friction on wood looks like 0,1 instead 0,3.

Lj: still broken, cant lj standing on corner

This isn't fixed and not all players lag. It's their computers or their net, You should test things before doing them, I know you want to improve the game by getting rid of the annoying lag, but seriously you're making it worse, no lj,wp and autocj in racing, bootcamp messed up,maps ruined,vanilla maps an example is the map 10 which is totally ruined, normal rooms and lots more..as i said there is no point now on the gameplay of some maps, as spacewind said, just put it back to the old way and instead add a wrench option to disable such things?

I was going crazy raging about how I was completing 3/4 of a bootcamp map then failing on the end wj... I couldn't understand how I was failing on the simplest part. Now I know. Also, it doesn't seem to be fixed as of yet for me.

It's not fixed yet, while resetting the code to an earlier state obviously something has gone wrong. Friction is indeed extremely low, not enabling us to longjump (from the corner) anymore and the wallpush physics have changed as well. Let's just hope that tig finds the cause of this soon and can complete the code reset.

No improvement since yesterday. It still looks choppy, and as others said already, the physics (friction etc) appear messed up.

Eveything seems fixed after server restart.

Hope Tig find a way to make things work on 30 fps, Trasformice worked great on my computer (back to old laggy times =S )
