Kira, Shaelyn, and Talon all got to a position that had them both land safely. Chess, however, landed on his side. He yelled in pain, cursing under his breath. Kira and Talon went to help him up.
“So, here’s your first question...” the ghost appeared in the far side of the room.. “What is life’s biggest illusion? You all get one answer, and let’s hope one of you get it right..’ he smirked. Kira looked at the others, hoping they'd know the answer, but they all looked as confused as she did. She sighed.
“Do we have an answer? Anyone..?” the voice said.
“Love.” Talon said quickly, he immediately looked down, knowing that wasn’t right.
“Time..” Chess said boldly.
"Fears?" Shaelyn guessed.
With each wrong answer, the ghosts smile grew bigger. He looked over at Kira. "And your answer?"
Kira thought for a second. “... Innocence.” she said.
The ghost looked at her, scowling. “You guys got lucky. Alright, one hour rest. When you start up again, you guys can either team up, or go on independant, But I can see you all decided to stick together already..” the ghost vanished.
Chess looked at the Kira and Talon. "Ey, ye never said yer lot's names." he said to them.
“I’m Kira." Kira said as she smiled warmly “Nice to meet you.” she finished.
"And I'm Talon." Talon replied. They all sat down and discussed the plan “This is going to be rather hard to discuss, considering that we don’t know what’s going to come next.” Kira pointed out.
“How much longer do we have?” she asked.
“A half hour.” Shaelyn replied.
“So, I take it we’re teaming up?” Talon asked, looking around. Everyone nodded.
They rested for the remaining time that they had left. “Have you guys taken a good look at Kaden?” Shaelyn asked them. Kira went silent, looking at the floor. “Did I say something wrong?” Shaelyn asked her. Kira shook her head, but she seemed sad.
“Do ye know somethin' lassie?” Chess asked her calmly. Kira sighed and looked at the others.
“That’s not Kaden. Well.. It is, but.. She wouldn’t do this. Kaden’s my friend. I know her better than anyone. But that Kaden, looked almost like..”
“A puppet?” Talon finished for her.
Kira nodded. “Earlier, she called the ghost “master”, that’s not like her. She’s a free spirit, and isn’t owned by anyone. And if you look at her face, it was emotionless, but she also looked like she didn’t want to do this. She looked like she was being forced, controlled, and as for the ghost, he looks like someone I know. Someone that’s alive. I doubt that is a ghost at all.” Kira explained.
“Who does the ghost look like?” Chess asked her.
“I’m not sure, I think it was my friends twin brother, and unless something happened recently, he’s still alive.” Kira replied.
“So yer saying, that be a hologram?” Chess asked her.
She nodded “Yup.”

Chapter 4
Kira, Chess, Shaelyn, and Talon looked up, hearing footsteps only to see Kaden and Naniku as they appeared a few meters ahead of the group, "But I thought that Naniku was..." They all looked at him. A creepy laugh disturbed their thoughts, and the ‘ghost’ appeared in front of the group,
“Time’s up~!” he said. A door opened behind him, and everyone ran towards it. Naniku and Maria walked into the room, and Kopi, Chess, and Kira ran out into the next one, all the way to the other side of it, so they had time to get ready to take out their weapons and defend themselves. Naniku ran towards Kira, attacking her first, swinging his sword at Kiras knees, but Kira jumped just in time. She swung above his head.
"Crap, I missed.” she said, backing up far enough so he couldn't lunge for her. But as soon as she did so, Naniku fell to the ground. A moment later, he looked up at Kira, who took yet another step back, just to be safe.
“How did you know about--” Naniku asked her.
“Know about what?" Kira crossed her arms. "Know that you guys were just puppets for the so called ghost? Well, We're not stupid, Naniku.” she said, but then she stopped and thought for a moment. "Maybe it’s the same for Kaden too?”
Naniku got up “We can try.” he said.
Kira shrugged and went to go help the others, who were struggling to defeat Kaden.
Naniku followed. He noticed Chess was fighting with a lazer pointer, which confused him a lot until he got a closer look at it. "It's a sword...? But it looks like a lazer.." he said in awe. He quickly dismissed the thought and went to attack Kaden as well.
Shaelyn tripped over Talons leg as he was trying to trip Kaden. “What are you doing?!” she yelled.
"Well if you would've watched were you were going--" He stopped to block an attack from Kaden, swiping at her with his weapon.
Kira looked at Kaden, she was damaged badly “Stop! Don't hurt her.” Kira said to the others.
“Are you stupid?" Talon asked. Kira looked at him, and he shut up. Kaden lunged for Shaelyn and she moved out of the way, causing Kaden to fall and drop her knife. Kira picked it up. As Kaden got up and lunged towards Kira, Kira cut above Kadens head.
Kadens body fell limp to the ground. Chess checked for a pulse.. There wasn't one.
Kiras eyes filled with tears as she kneeled by Kaden's body.
Naniku clapped slowly. “Congratulations, Kira. You killed your best friend.” He said silently. But not silent enough for Kira not to hear. She picked up Kaden's knife, her hand was shaking. She pulled her hand back, ready to throw it at Naniku, but as she was about to release it, a hand grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
