If Reborn decides to support or to go against the suggestion, it shouldn't really concern you; they have a right to disagree or agree with the suggestion.
Reborn does raise a valid point though. There are a bunch of events around that time period and I'm not sure the admins can manage an extra event :/

Good idea, but I don't think it'll be done, not to be a downer. Another suggestion was towards the event of Thanksgiving, you see, these holidays are not world wide or international. Personally I do like the idea, but its the fact that it's not major through-out the world. Because of that the thought of Thanksgiving events were put down, a I think this will be the same...
