Statpadders suck all fun out of the game, with all of their vacuous taking and never giving anything back.

I suppose the devs won't see this as a problem if enough players aren't contacting them with their complaints versus the literal cryfest that would result if rounds were added. Their tens of thousands of complaints would look like the majority that don't want rounds in their profile, and be given priority. It's exactly why there are no disqualifications in any recognized leaderboards.

This is how stupid and unhinged people get power, from being loud and lacking overwhelming opposition. Apathy only helps them.

They're lame

Stat padding is POINTLESS and by far the most annoying (and dumb) thing you can do on Transformice. Not only is it pointless, it's counterproductive! Padders level up slower, get much less cheese, get fewer experience points, get to be the shaman less, annoy everyone . . . all for a number on their profile NOBODY cares about or notices . . . seriously, who are you trying to impress? It's also very rude and selfish as it hurts the shamans' save count and coin count.
Plus, those manipulated statistics are a lie, as the player isn't good enough to earn those statistics by way of regular play . . . so there's that.

if i'm a normal mouse like them, i dont care.

but if i'm sham, i get rly mad, cuz like i build to save 20 mice, and 10 of them die....on purpose -_-
what i do sometimes tho, if they die with the cheese, i just revive them at the hole and they can't run away ^_^

they might be annoying when you are yourself a shaman, but sometimes i feel just like "meh, deal with it."
To be honest, i used to statpad a little, just for these stupid "trying to impress people" reasons. Although i'm playing on a module, a "simple" profile like 120firsts for 180cheese is enough for me, better than a 0/0 profile.

However lately i just consider entering when i can, to get the most cheese (and firsts) while trying to play every single round. Sometimes it just pisses me off when i don't get first, but eh, that's the game, so i still end entering.

I believe this kind of player doesn't have to play in shaman to get saves; they don't enter in hole and so pple don't have to enter in their .-.

Their play-style is overall very toxic. So yes, I have no contempt for them.

if you're gonna get all stuffy about losing your saves from padders then technically you're also being petty about your stats, as saves are a stat.

also, some people might statpad because they want to better their stats so they can get into higher tribes, get a better first ratio, increase their leaderboard ranking etc.

I don't see the benefit of statpadding. While it does raise your first ratio, your cheese ratio suffers in return. That poor first to cheese ratio.

Am glad that mice can hold cheese when revived now because it makes things easier for me when shaman.

lol statpadding doesn't help your first ratio. your first ratio stays the same relative to your total number of rounds whether or not you go in when you're not first. it ruins your cheese and sham ratios, so it actually hurts your leaderboard ranking.

best way to identify statpadders: look at their number of saves. they usually have a low saves:cheese ratio. and if they have less saves than cheese, then for sure they're padding.

No, it isn't: You can statpadd in first and have plenty saves bcz the rounds don't count on your profile! (excepted in survivor and racing modes)

I used to hate them years ago as it not only seemed illogical since you're ruining all your other stats, your only fooling newbies who don't know about external stat sites such as cheeseformice into thinking you're good. Plus it isn't exactly how the game was intended to be played, and annoys other people especially the shaman. However nowadays I don't mind since we have shaman skills which can deal with them.

I hate stat padders though. Most of them are jerks. If they didn't get first, then shammed the next turn, he/she kills everyone or favoes someone in favor of him/her. It also reduces the mice saved count -_- Ugh.

I hate statpadders and whenever it's my shaman turn I do everything in my power to prevent statpadders from getting first. Most times when I notice there's a statpadder I block the hole and teleport someone random to hole. After they've all morted I rev on the hole which works most of the time!

I personally only mort and appear as a statpadder if a person I don't like is shaman :p

Disliking statpadders doesn't make you petty about your saves. I murder saves and still dislike padders. Why even care about saves when you usually build perfectly but too much of the room is lazy/noob and used to being "saved" with cheap spiritual guide skills or afk or padding? And I enjoy it when I co-op with a padder and murder everybody, and the padder leaves in disgust. Fair change when they usually murder their partners and flail through the round.

I used to be annoyed by stat padders, I saw them as try hards and losers who inconvenienced others only to impress themselves. They're still annoying and I don't understand their logic, but now I am good enough to scare them off from my room since they can't beat me. There are very few who actually pose a challenge.
