I don't enjoy it, cause it's really distracting when playing.

If we can change how we view the color of 'nicknames' (like a less neon color) I'd be happier. We should also get to change what part of our username would be in our nickname.

On that note though, if this update was meant to make the chat bubbles more readable thanks to showing who's saying what, I can imagine that this'd just cause even more confusion if people have the first 3 letters in their name, like the two of us.

When my soulmate and I have the same abbreviation. It gets weird and kinda cool ^_^

I absolutely HATE this new update

The darker boxes are a bit distracting but livable - although when someone makes a long message, the dark box takes up a lot of space and really draws the eye
I really dislike the cyan text, which contrasts from the dark background and makes someones text much more visible and distracting
If just friends messages showed up like this or something, I'd find it fine. Just what most people are saying isn't relevant enough to me for me to want to see both their name and message displayed in such an attention grabbing format. Makes me far less comfortable when racing and lose focus in survivor, I get distracted by chatting too much already x)

Personally I dont mind the three letter display of the name tags. I can see where people are coming from as well, but adding more than 3 letters in cyan on a dark background? The complaints about it being distracting would get worse, I think

The issue majorly with this update is that most users feel it is unnecessary and odd, *since we already have the chat logs to figure who said what*, also this leads to people addressing others with names that they'd prefer not to be addressed by. I'd say this update would be slightly better if we could,
1. Set our prefered identifier
2. Visibility of such identifiers are able to be toggled by the user.

However I would say though the new colours for the chat bubbles are different from what i'm used to but it's kinda spiffy that we can see through *ever so slightly* through the bubbles ^_^

I don't understand why they changed it. It's a bit distracting and I would rather be "Lite" than "Lit" but oh well.

Haven't seen it in action, no time to play, but from the screenshots I've seen, it looks distracting. It's already difficult to see what I'm doing when there's a lot of people playing in one room (mice obscuring shaman objects and grounds), and it looks like this makes the play area even more cluttered. I said it before the last time this was changed, but I'll say it again: I'd love it if we could disable chat bubbles altogether like we can with mice outfits and particle effects. I only read the chat, so the bubbles just get in the way...

Don't mind the shortening of usernames to three letters, people call me Fin already anyway, but I can see why it bothers others. Also seems rather redundant, like the bubbles themselves, since all this information is already in the chat area.

like the color but not for the bubble, its too distracting and i HATE my 3-letter forced-on-me name. I would much rather changing so that the max would be at least 5, i hate hate hate this because sup is just wayyyy tooo confusing.
