I'm not an expert but i think when you start a walk or run cycle you start at the neutral (one foot on the ground and one adjacent to it but off the floor, the apex of the bob i believe),. it's a bit complex

Thanks for the tip, I've only just starting really animating because of this wrist problem, I'm super behind. One of the project requirements for college is unfortunately animating, which isn't my strong suit. I'll take this advice on board ;D
