is it really worth it to complain about this lua event? there are literally two other events going on, one of which is another lua event, that you don't seem to have a problem with? and honestly, if you just care about the event disrupting gameplay just go to a smaller room so the events don't pass or just wait like two and a half minutes, really, it isnt that bad

If a player likes to play in a specific room telling them to go elsewhere because of the actual event management is not a solution.

I understand that the bias you event maker are taking on this and I apologize for the other player behaviour, as it is not your fault that there are 3 events currently running altogether.

Just try to take the feedback you think is going to help you improve and try to make the next one better :)

I don't know what expectations you have of me, but I don't think it's rude or disrespectful to dismiss the national pride of a random country when it's being shoved in my face just like that. You're entitled to your own opinion though.

Quick rewind to a couple of years ago when we had to play lua events of India and US's independencies.
Honestly be grateful that there is still something. If you seriously want to play the normal game then just do something meanwhile the events are running? Like it's just that simple :/

This threads last pages is looking like a saltmine. Yikes. I rather am glad we are getting more people working their asses off and getting into this by this showing off in such a way. Only more talent is welcome here imo

That aside, the fact for someone to also go out and diss someone's work is also hilarious. If you are acting smart and superior, show us what you got instead and prove us wrong, rather than to whine and groan on how everything is bad yet once again.

As for me, I do appreciate the effort but I do not want to take part in a LUA event that has to do with politics.

My idea my course of action but it has to be respected.

As for other people concern we currently have an event ongoing, that sometimes strikes you with 3 maps in a row (adding the total time up to 6ish minutes of not playing) and 2 lua events.

IMHO it makes the flow of the game a bit dispersive but I'm fine with that.

I simply dislike the concept of politics on a mouse game. Past events which were related to other countries had a different concept, but that’s completely okay.
I dislike discussing about this since my comment was made to tell my opinion, and discussing with others about this by sort of forcing someone to change their mind would be useless, as it wont apply any changes to the current event.
I have to say though that I appreciated everyone’s polite answers.

I agree, but there were also two Independence Day events, one for the USA and one for India, as well as a National Day for France. Having one more, for one of the biggest communities in the game and for a rather special and round anniversary, is nothing new and nothing bad in my opinion.

The execution? Could have been different, though the mechanics are cool. Was it selfish? I think it is more an educational opportunity for others than a selfish act for us. You decide what to take out of it.

That's what I found distasteful. The french independence event didn't make us build a statue to Napoleon, the american one didn't make us build one to Thomas Jefferson... Why add to the controversy? I am sure there were other symbols that could be used for the PL Independence event. Anyway, what's done is done now, let's learn from this, for future events.

Don't do stuff like art maps and make solid ground easy to see, a good start and the piñata map bring the issue with the left path, the darker side of the yellow ground can be easily used as clue but nope.

The PL Independence event isn't about politics, but about history.

I got this: -6x + -16 = 8x + -6 → x = -10 / 14
And this: -17x + 13 = 13x + -4 → x = -17 / 30
And this: -3x + -14 = 18x + 8 → x = -22 / 21
