I've been trying to speak with Sydoline for quite a long time now. She remains unresposive thus far but that is off topic isn't it? Bugger!

I doubt (or at least hope!) that anybody would be punished for adding a reason.

Reasons have never been given in the past so we decided it was best to keep it that way. We're not trying to be shady, or make the staff look like one happy family. If people want to know why he's no longer staff, they can ask Lewbot or he can post himself. We aren't going to stop him from explaining why he was fired, we just don't feel like it's our place to say why he left/was fired. I hope this somewhat clears it up!

How many people do not understand that when they say "R.I.P {{staff name}}" it doesn't actually mean dead. It means you're sorry that he/she fired/left.

Yeah but R.I.P. means rest in peace which is commonly recognized as what you say in death. Since Poly's first language isn't English he may not understand the other nuances that RIP can imply; so don't get your thong in a twist because he didn't understand.

Nah, I was fired for disagreeing with several internal decisions and speaking my mind about them in discussion threads. My opinion was a bit too direct and blunt for Sydoline and a few other non-EN mod's liking and I was removed for that reason after a brief IRC chat with Sydo.

Thanks for letting me help you guys, it was my favourite part of the job ^^
