So guys, I'm super glad we could make it to 800 post, this thread is huge, like wow. Whenever I make maps, it's always a map that I make from my heart, and never something people "want." I've turned into someone people get their ideas off of, someone who makes mechs, brand new ones, someone who finds new glitches etc. Some of the things I've done here were really really cool, and so often the Mapcrew has even ended up coming to me for solving some kind of an issue. It's made me feel like I've made a very big impact on this game in the map making community.

And so with that, I bring good news, and bad news, let's talk about the good news first.
I am capable of graduating highschool with my class :) this means I won't have to do an extra year, I just went through all my school stuff and I didn't realize until now it'd be easily possible. And so I plan to move forward with it, taking the nessisary steps to making sure I graduate on time.

But, so there's the bad news, this game, is such a huge obstacle for those steps. I just won't have time for it. And so I'm telling you all now it could be very possible I won't be here until the summer, because I want so bad to graduate on time, I really don't care about going an extra symester, but the idea that I could do it... that's just amazing.

So it looks like I have a new challenge up ahead, that being, to quit the game.

You are all so amazing and I loved how everytime I've been on someone's PM'd me saying "omg your map was so amazing how did you do that?" it made me smile, but right now what will make me really smile is having a highschool diploma.

I have found out recently, regardless of if I get a job, or not to earn the extra .5 credits, I will not graduate on time :[ this is because of required classes I either havent taken yet or never passed in Freshman year

I will still be trying to get the job tho, because I've found something else to strive for, a prom date ^-^ and I'll need money for that, as well as a car... yes Mousechris is gonna learn to drive woooo.

As a note to mapcrew members, while I'm always happy for a discussion, if I come to you asking about edits or testing, that doesn't mean discuss my map, so please stop complaining to me saying I need to use the submission threads, I do use them, but if you put my map in discussion early I'll just edit the code out logically. Please don't take this as anything personal it's just I've been asked to start using the submission threads and I'm just not seeing how it's really my fault.

I'd also like to announce, in keeping you all updated with the first post on this page, my interview at Wendy's went extremely possitive today and as predicted it looks like I have a good chance at landing the job, if I do that will likely mean I won't have much time anymore for TFM :[ but you know I gotta get money to buy a tux for prom :] chris is going with the most beautiful girl on all of the west coast :p

And to anyone wondering if because of all this new stuff with my life I plan to stop applying for mapcrew, nope, not right now ofc, but sometime I do plan to reapply again, I know many of you want me to etc, as well as I'd love to as always.

Well I think that about sums up the whole god damn week, this monday will be my 2nd interview if my chances are good, so if you wanna talk to me I'll still be here throughout the week.

I'm looking for a job too, and I don't know how it is where you are, but it's really competitive here in Vancouver. Passing along an advice my friend gave me: about 95% of your applications will be rejected (applies in Canada). I applied to about 30 places last summer, didn't work, so most likely printing out 100 resumes this time. So, more places you apply to the better :D

I honestly love making maps for you all, it's the most fun thing about most of my days, but if it means giving it up most of the time so I can actually have steady money, then hell idk, that'd be the best damn thing ever.

Hell the moment I get a job, a memorial map will be made for it.

This month of May is actually my birthday, this May 23'rd :)

On May 23'rd I will be like normal, hosting a large party, and I'll need maps for it! So if you'd like to make a happy birthday Mousechris map, please submit them here for the month of May, I was thinking of making it myself, but why not let my fans? Same thing goes for fanart :) and the end of it all on May 23'rd I'll post screenshots of my favorite maps!
