  • The first two obstacles seem to be quite hard. No one understood how to do the beginning. Two people somehow managed to do it after I showed them but kept failing on the second obstacle. There were no completions. I'm more or less okay with all obstacles, even though the last part really feels like a filler. Please make the map more understandable and easier. In its current state it feels pretty frustrating to play on. Edits.
  • The first obstacle isn't hard but may be confusing at first, but after a couple of tries it should be quite clear that there is no other way to do it. Last part is alright but I agree it can be more interesting. P13 with or without edits to last part
  • I really just can't help the fact, that aesthetically most of Daniel's maps look so bad because of the 10px obstacles. He just can't figure out how to do it properly. It really bothers me a lot. Aside from that, the first part is very confusing. The other obstacles are a bit boring to me and nothing really interesting. I also agree that it's a bit frustrating to play on. This is a plain no for me.
  • I agree with the first review, I would like to see the entire map made easier so that it isn't as frustrating to play on. P22 for now.

  • The middle chain is very cool, but I feel like the spring obstacles are overused on the rest of the map. Doing the same thing twice at the start and a very similar obstacle at the top right side seems to repetitive to play on. P22 for now. x2
  • I found the transition from the first part to the second part of the map to be anticlimactic, when I first tried the map out I was under the impression that the transition would have been better and more "continuous" when it comes to flow, rather than having to stop for a bit to just hit the side of the bottom ground to go from the first obstacle to the second obstacle. In the middle obstacle, you don't really do much for the most part because you're going from one side of the map to the opposite twice which is a long route until you reach the trampoline then you have to time jump at the right position to get to the right top part which is the actual fun part of the map, but as mentioned above it feels like it's the harder version of the first obstacle which makes the latter the less fun version as you compare the two and adds to the repetitiveness. P22
  • It's just way too repetitive. Same over and over again. Clear P22 to me. Fun obstacle, but one time is enough.
  • I personally found this map to be very fun to play on, even for a longer period of time, and especially for a no-gravity map since I dislike all of those we have in the rotation at the moment, but the repetitiveness of the obstacles seems to be an issue and I think that most players would find the map frustrating because you have to react really fast everywhere and you can only stop in the middle. The ideas are great though so I think that you could use them in a new map and add a couple of new obstacles. Great map but I will go with a P22 this time.

  • Several obstacles in this map are just variations of obstacles used in several other bootcamp maps especially the first and last obstacle so they don't feel that enjoyable, and I really dislike how you simple have to walk/slide into the speed token below the checkpoint to first get to the checkpoint and then to get to the following obstacle. Weak P13 or P22
  • Having to kill yourself in order to complete a bootcamp map doesn't sound right to me but I'd say that I'm fine with it. However, many players during my test didn't even know that the tokens would reappear after you killed yourself at the checkpoint and were really confused. They just didn't understand the point of having a checkpoint up there and seemed to be lost. Using a checkpoint in most bootcamp maps is optional but not here, so adding an arrow pointing at the checkpoint and acid wall to show that you need to use it would help I think. The obstacles aren't very impressive but the map seems fine to me overall and I found the double pathing to be clever. I'm fine with a P13 here after the arrow is added.

Gobbek - @5800001
  • There are two issues with this map for me. First of all, that top left obstacle that goes trough the sticky ground is just bad. The other thing I would like to see different is the cheese obstacle. Instead of just repeating the previous part using the big trampoline again, it would be much more enjoyable to see a different gameplay there, maybe using the bottom space that was left unused. P22 for now.
  • Very poor use of space in this map in my opinion. The transition from the first to the second obstacle is literally just walljump. The second obstacle itself is very weird and seems very unsuitable for the rest of the map since it kinda breaks the pace, it looks like a filler. It is particularly bad in that you can't tell the moment you'll go through that vertical sticky, making the obstacle unpredictable. Obstacles around the cheese would be fine if you didn't have to do them all over again a second time. The end, much as the second obstacle, really feels like a filler. P22.
  • Agreed with what has been said above about top left obstacle and the cheese part. I would also like to see them changed, so that we don't have to redo the same obstacles after getting cheese. P22 for now.
  • I agree with what has been said above, I would've preferred something other than walljump to transition from the first to the second obstacle, and the sticky ground obstacle takes a little long to let you pass through and sometimes it sends you back to the previous obstacle despite having correctly slid down. I don't like how the first obstacle is used again after getting the cheese where you have to use the trampoline and drop on the ground then bounce back up to get to the top. P22
  • I completely agree with all of the above and I also experienced inconsistencies with the obstacle in the top left corner. P22

Gobbek - @5888866
  • Fun map to play on, flows really nicely. It can be a little confusing at first but I think if you just stop to think about it it's pretty simple to figure out. P3
  • Imo this just feels like I'm doing the same thing over and over. Ramp up > water > ramp down > change order of the obstacles. The gravity doesnt really makes it much better. Voting P22
  • I honestly think this map is horrible. One of the worst Gobbek maps I've seen in years. It's very confusing, the obstacles are just a tad too precise. It's a puzzle. I vote P22.
  • I really dislike the overall pace of the map which I find way too slow to be enjoyable. As stated above the obstacles are pretty much all the same, apparently for the sake of the design. P22. x2
  • At first glance the map seems nice and is really fun to play on but after a couple of completions the gameplay gets tedious due to the repetitiveness of it's obstacles. P22 x2

  • I feel like the first obstacle is a bit too precise. Also there could be an obstacle at end, rather than just a water wall jump. Edits.

  • Totally agree with the first review. Also want to say I really like the combination of joint grounds, water and trampolines. It's quite simple once you get the hang of it, but it's very fun to play on!

  • I think the start is just a little too finicky. In testing only a small number of people got past the first obstacle at all, and none of those that got past it could do it with any sort of consistency. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's luck based, but it's definitely an obstacle that is difficult to do consistently imo. Rest of the map is good, and pretty much everyone who got past the first obstacle was able to complete the map. P22.
  • I was able to complete the first obstacle almost every time that I attempted to do it, but none of the players were doing it correctly to be able to pass it despite having shown it to them over 6 times, but it is pretty consistent. I found the obstacles on the left side to be too forgiving and easy after figuring it out, but considering that the previous thread stated that players found it confusing so it seems that it was made easier for that reason, I'm fine with giving this map a P13
  • As stated in my previous comment on this map, I just needed the second part to be made clearer. Since it's been done I'm fine with P13ing it.
  • After you get the hang of the left side it becomes really easy and way too forgiving and it is the reason I think this map would become farm one really quickly. I would like to see whole left part changed. P22.
  • I figured out the first part, took me a while. I don't feel like it's very consistent and fun to figure out. When you've finally figured it out the rest of the map is quite easy. It just doesn't fit together imho. P22.
