  • I usually like stickys/treadmills type of maps despite being hella overused but I don't have fun playing this one. The transition from the beginning to the rest of the map is painful. The water ground at the bottom right has no use and is more confusing than anything, if you want to notice players that they have to jump, just shorten the treadmill and lengthen it with an ice ground under it. Cheese part is very anticlimatic because of the sudden break of pace. The obstacle after that is frustrating and not enjoyable. The end is decent at best, it fills a bit like a filler obstacle and it's sadly the best part of the map. P22.
  • The starting obstacle, placed right next to the mice, where just a bit of pressure and speed is enough to jump to the next, feels rather boring and generic. I also agree with what has been said about the water on the bottom right; it's unnecessary and might even confuse people. In fact, I believe the entire right side of the map could benefit from significant adjustments to make it more enjoyable. Alternating between speed/slow paces is not that good here. P22.
  • Every obstacle in this map feels pretty automatic to me. After you get the hang of what you are supposed to do, the map becomes pretty straightforward. Agreed what has been said above as well. P22
  • I feel like some parts of the map require too much accuracy and specific movement and I'm not a fan in general. P22.

  • The map plays very well and he managed to do original obstacles (excepting the last one which is something common, but is actually way better with water) with simple chains, using in a good way the water features. I especially like the first part, the space is well used and doing twice the start of the chain isn't boring at all. It bothers me a bit he didn't indicate how the waters act though, as one of them is inverted. P13/Edits
  • Agreed with the comment on water. The last obstacle feels really cheap but it works alright. Not too great but could work as a filler. Neutral but don't mind P13.

  • Very interesting obstacles, the map definitely commands attention. I'd say in the current state it would surely deserve P13, however I think a bit more work here and there could help make the gameplay feel a little bit less awkward and stifling at times to the point it could become a fine addition to P3 rotation. The parts that would, in my mind, require most of the care are the middle left part and a more general work on the skulls which I feel we could really do without. Another noticeable remark, there's a shortcut from that middle left part directly to the treadmill on the right, this should be fixed. P3/13 with edits. x2
  • Indeed, there are some interesting obstacles, but the execution of the map needs improvement. The timing for each ice ground is set differently, which feels inconsistent and makes it difficult to predict when to jump or take action. I understand it's pretty obvious what should be done, but It would be much better if all the ice grounds had the same timing, allowing players to deal with the obstacles more predictably, especially in the middle-left section of the map. Adjusting this (with any other necessary adjustments on grounds) would add value and improve the overall gameplay, since the main concept of the map is dealing with the timing. Edits.
  • I like this map, but i do feel the excecusion was a bit poor. I agree about needing edits, after that, i wouldn't mind giving it a P3.
  • I found this map to be fun and interesting despite the simplicity of the obstacles. My main concerns with the map are the shortcut mentioned above and the fact that the slippery effect icon is removed later than the effect itself. It is particularly obvious when you get to the first chocolate and I believe it should be fixed there. I'm also not a fan of the skulls and I think they could be replaced with something else but I don't mind them that much. Edits, P3 after the shortcut is removed and the icon timing is fixed.
  • I agree with the edits suggested by the others. Plus, the part right after cheese should work better or become slightly easier. Indeed the timing to jump against the ice is quite precise and we often end up being killed by the treadmill if we don't jump or do it too early, and hitting the stone when we do it too late. I would really like to see this map as a P3 once it is fixed, because it seems both really fun and innovative to me.

Since there is way less submissions and less reviews than before when the submission limit has been added, are you thinking about increasing it a bit to 3/4/5 maps per review ?
