@667762 - Seen this 2 times on public, first time the bottom ice block disappeared after about 40-50 seconds, second time it disappeared after 15 seconds. Top one has worked correctly.

I'm not a big bc guy but it's fine, you're not so offscreen that you can't tell where your mouse is.

This map does nothing of the sort. It's "jump on boxes that are falling and hope that you aren't the unlucky person on whose head the box falls." There's really nothing skill-based about it, except maybe a cj at the end, but that's really nothing to write home about.

Once again, no rewards for skilled mice. In fact, the more skilled mice are the ones that are required to set the mechanism off and thus put themselves at a disadvantage. Aside from that, once the cheese is available it's just bouncing on a trampoline; once again, no way to set yourself ahead with skill. Additionally, the sync occasionally breaks the mechanism which allows a solitary mouse to obtain the cheese and get into the hole before the button has even been pressed; I witness this happen every two or three times the map plays.

Same story. The map is automatically paced by the mechanism. If you even get ahead, you have to wait for the cannonball to fire before you can reach the cheese, and then you have to wait in the gaps between each cannonball. The only semblance of skill-based gameplay is at the end, and that's really all dependant on how good of a boost you get from the cannonball, which is completely unpredictable and luck-based. In addition to all of this, mice get easily stuck in the bottom right corner of the map, and without a sham to help them, they're really SOL.

For all of these maps, I also have an additional comment. I realize that the P7 category is not a dedicated "racing" category, per se, but when the P7 turn pops up during the rotation, it is completely reasonable to expect a racing map; P7 has historically been the category that is defined by skill-based gameplay in which the more experienced mice are able to race through quick-paced courses for firsts. When I see any of these three maps, it is a HUGE letdown, as the P7 category is by far my favorite category. I'm not saying that these maps should be deleted, or even edited, but they do NOT belong in P7.

EDIT: I understand that these maps have been added to P7 so that they are not ruined by shamans who decide to break mechanisms. Why not just have a way to remove shaman spawns on certain maps, post-perm, while still keeping them in an appropriate category?

I see that glitch/bug a LOOOOOOT of times in survivor, it doesn't matter which map. It happens every hour to me.

Alright lots to respond to, here we go:

Brianxd:
@2089045 was part of a group of average mech-ish maps used to fill the category. There's been a recent discussion about moving some of the P6/P9 maps where the sham is virtually useless into P7... while I don't personally care for the idea, some maps had the votes to be moved. This was one of them. However, it may be time for it to go as it was added originally to help fill the P6 category. I'll make a deperm thread.
@3314017 and @3659464 same deal pretty much.

Map crew has been asking for this since the categories were introduced, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be happening.

Mousechris/Flindix:
Same problem use to happen with one of Misterflea's maps, but nobody could ever figure out why.

Graecus:
I'm not sure what you're talking about, the square on top of the lazer? Yeah, I've made the mistake of trying to wj up that before too but you just have to get used to it I guess.

Ruoka:
There's already a thread about removing @667762 , we'll see how it goes I guess.

Graecus:
Regarding @198823, define broken? Any times I've seen it mess up it was due to sync issues.

Lilyblol:
Everyone seems to be tired of @3086992 by now anyway, it's one of those gimmicky maps that's fun to see once or twice but quickly becomes boring. May be time to get rid of it, we'll see.
