Left as is: @7859585 - Hyk#6465 - Unfortunately, the gameplay is annoying when it comes to shamming. Shams have to force themselves to avoid the water and overall, there isn't enough layout to justify playing on it neither as a mouse nor as a shaman. @7859308 - Hyk#6465 - Way too many anticlouds used while the layout doesn't bring any potential for combos or expressivity. Shamans cannot properly kill mice this way and it leads to unsatisfying gameplay. Another issue is the design used when decorating the grounds - it is not consistent and it doesn't bring anything special. @7857409 - Hyk#6465 - The layout in question basically forces mice to go on the middle platform as shamans will be at a considerate disadvantage there. Because of this, shamans would usually get on one of the right or left platforms to have a better angle on mice, but in this map mice spawn there, leading to a mess for the shamans to handle. Unfortunately, this isn't suited for P24. @7827210 - Stovedove#0000 - While the layout itself is interesting because of the gap between the structures, the middle mech is way too forgiving for mice. Not only that, but it brings them up at the shamans' spawn which creates a massive imbalance, unfortunately. @7861401 - Stovedove#0000 - The mechanism aids mice too much. Firstly, they can climb up if they are brought down, which promotes an endless cycle of falling-climbing. Secondly, the anticloud under the shaman spawn doesn't make sense: hitting mice simply pushes them into the walls without killing them. Don't forget they will also fall on the mech half of the time. The bottom ground only acts as further aid for mice, shams only using it at the beginning to clear afk mice as no one will ever stay on the spawn. @7860773 - Haydie#0000 - Way too snipey in the beginning while the bottom ground is plain and not that interesting. I appreciate the sticky ground, but unfortunately it disrupts cannons - you can't shoot a cannon across the whole bottom section, furtherly promoting sniping. The layout itself is too spread out and shams can't reliably control it all. @7763118 - Haydie#0000 - I like the concept a lot. The mechs and disappearing grounds do give it a lot of options when it comes to gameplay. However, the amount of anticlouds is a bit unresting. Especially in the middle top section, shamans are encouraged to spam cannons until mice make a mistake, and that is because you cannot chain any kind of combo if you have no ground. I suggest making the top wooden ground normal or/and shorter because mice have no difficulty getting up there, encouraging shamans to sit and shoot cannons without the need of any thought. @7745869 - Haydie#0000 - Interesting layout. However, mice have it too easy here. If there was only one mech (preferably the bottom one), it would make sense. The middle grounds are just annoying to deal with as a shaman especially because they are all anticlouds and mice can move way too much from one side to the another. Not balanced for shamans. @7861686 - Bluevintrix#6860 - It would've been such a nice map if the ramps were properly placed for shamans. I actually can't reach them as a shaman and that is a shame. Another point I want to make is that there should be some ice on the sides of the shaman spawns because mice would guess it's wood with friction, which isn't fair for them. All in all, the layout feels... unreachable. As a sham, I could only snipe. That's pretty much everything I could do. Adjust the gaps and it should work better next time. @7863887 - Bluevintrix#6860 - To begin with, I am not sure how am I supposed to use the anticlouds. They look like they could come in handy, but any angle I hit them at proves uneffective. The ice ramps shouldn't be there in my opinion - they simply stall the round because mice are pretty much unkillable while the walls are up. Other than that, the layout seems pretty basic, unfortunately. @7734061 - Eremia#2246 - I absolutely love this map, but I'm sorry to say that in every public test, the round was done in less than a minute. Adjust the restitution factor and try a few more combinations. Good job, but it could be better! @7740754 - Eremia#2246 - I'd be nice to have some kind of aie map in survivor, but we all know how they went. Mice don't expect it at all and, in this map's case, shamans absolutely obliterate mice. It's not fair enough for mice, unfortunately. @7866756 - Eremia#2246 - Yet again, a really beautiful concept. The public tests went... not that fine? Of course, people aren't accustomed to apples in general, but it did feel a bit unbalanced. You should try and add more grounds or add things that aid mice more. Also, there is a ceiling which I hit while playtesting. Shouldn't be there. All in all, come back with some better crafted version. Don't give up, we will get an apple map eventually. @7860417 - Ougoundare#0000 - I don't think this map is balanced for mice. Shamans don't need to use any kind of strategy at all to defeat mice. It is kind of plain and not fun to play on. I suggest removing the complexity - for example, there is no need for the middle antigrounds. Could work without them. Better luck next time. @7779173 - M23#4702 - Unfortunately, the design language used here isn't clear. You may have wanted to represent some kind of ropes or strings but in the end it looked like mice couldn't pass through it. Excluding that issue, the layout isn't particularly interesting. It's a bit plain and it doesn't stand out. Not only that, but it may be a bit biased towards mice, especially in the top side of the map. @1667740 - Jota#0676 - This one is... strikingly similar to @7517397. Well, even so, this one has less interesting aspects and is overall less balanced because mice are exceedingly mobile with the middle platform. Unfortunately, it won't make it. @1691396 - Jota#0676 - Unfortunately, this map is not enjoyable for shamming. Mice can easily get up to the shaman spawn, the water disrupts the cannons and combos are scarce because of the anticlouds. @7079637 - Jota#0676 - This is similar to an older P24 and, unfortunately, doesn't have that good of a layout. It suffers from the same "spam cannons and hope to kill" because of the parallel grounds and the fact that they are anticlouds. The water is also a bit of a nuissance. Unfortunately, this isn't good enough for it to be discussed. @4163343 - Lei#0020 - Unfortunately, the sham on the left side has some parts that are unreacheable to them - you can barely or not at all hit the rightmost grounds because of the slope. The map suffers from reachability issues and can't provide reliable angles from which to hit mice. @7866192 - Widabapo#0511 - I will dismiss this map purely based on the fact that the bottom right shaman can't hit anything at all. And I don't mean there are some covered places, I can't hit any ground on which mice would stand on. Also, the acid shouldn't be inside the shaman cages. Will be discussed: @7840739 - Zetdey#3845 - Seems like a fun map, it uses the anticloud concept well and it has a nice balance. Good mice can get to the top, good shams can collaborate and eliminate them. @7517397 - Jasseh#0000 - First of all, the mech in the middle looks really nice. I love that. Secondly, while mice may be a bit favored here, shamans have a good amount of space and grounds to use at their disposal. This is on the challenging side of the spectrum, but not close enough to being called unbalanced. Should be fine. Also, this map is extremely similar to @1667740. We, of course, can't be sure who was the "original" out of the two, but we decided to keep this version because it's overall better designed but also it appears in the thread before the other. @7861886 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - Looks good to me. One thing I'd ask is why isn't the shaman spawn at the top of the "water tower"? It's not a problem but theres a few seconds lost of gameplay there. Anyways, I like it. It looks good and it feels balanced enough. @7865920 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - Really liking the mech here. It synergizes really well with the gameplay and I think it will be a fine addition to our rotation. We will probably have to remove the inner grounds of the anticlouds as they serve only confusion, but it should be fine nontheless. @7863430 - Xaxadoooooo#0000 - Nice job! This is another concept that I like. The trampoline is perfectly well placed that it doesn't feel too overpowered while still being useful. Not only that, the layout makes good use of the dodue and it brings a nice challenge. @7864444 - +guai#0000 - A bit plain but it works. I like the fact that the map is in a "cage" of some kind. The slopes should prove useful when clearing the bottom side. @7779170 - M23#4702 - It does seem like a spam map, but it doesn't really have any issue other than that. The anticlouds are used well. We will see how it goes. @7779171 - M23#4702 - It's oldschool and it felt ok to play. Should be fine for discussion. @7874039 - Louree#2356 - Mice have decent survivability and the design is awesome.
