Helpers are helpers they help (in-game, forums even in tech-questions and translations and make guides..etc)
But you might didn't notice us for example answering questions in Q&A thread. We don't answer questions like "Hello I'm a helper. Please do that and that and your problem will be over."
But yeah helpers help in many ways.

Helpers are helpers they help (in-game, forums even in tech-questions and translations and make guides..etc)

Ah it's just the description for helpers came off more in-game based. It also may be because helpers has been inactive for quite awhile~

I never really noticed nor do I still notice any helpers doing guides/translations or tech-questions. I guess I just need to make myself more aware of the individuals who are deemed "helpers"

Though what kind of recognitions do helpers get other than on anvil-god? Is it more of a "people just helping when they can" type deal or are they given some sort of limitations of which they can and cannot do somewhat like a mini-mod/ mini-sent?

there is a chat called #help but few are using this.

Also a lot of the official helpers actually use that chat as well

they should make a command like they do for mods orrrr when you do /mod before the write the mods online they do If you only need help with something contact the helpers! and list them then list the mods, smth like that

Since the helpers aren't really an official staff team, I don't see why they should really get an in-game command. CFM and Micetigri had bots that would display a helpers list, but they're offline as of now.

i totally support you, but someone should modify the members of the team in case if one is leaving

If not, at least keep the thread (list) updated, such as removing the names of the people that are no longer on the team, adding names of new helpers to it, etc. That way players can try privately messaging possibly online helpers, know who's a helper and who isn't, etc. Would be nice to see this being taken care of.

And what are some possible scenarios that you would need to find real helpers vs people (in the #help channel) who just answer questions? because I can't really think of any

What if people have questions about the Helpers team that can't be answered by a casual player in a random room? Usually blurting out a question in a room won't get you answers as efficiently as you can with a Helper.

On the topic of finding Helpers online, I fully agree that at least the Micetigri bot needs to be fixed, but that's fully up to Thewav.
