Since the helpers aren't really an official staff team, I don't see why they should really get an in-game command. CFM and Micetigri had bots that would display a helpers list, but they're offline as of now.

So either they fix the bots, or make them official. We, sometimes, need help, and we need to find them!

There are already mods, so there would be no point to make them official.

But really, there's no point in directly having to find them. You could just use the Help channel and ask questions there too.

The mods have got nothing to do with this. Moderators are here to moderate the game, Helpers are here to answer people's questions and help them with things about the game in general, so that's not really a reason as to why they shouldn't be official.
I agree that they shouldn't be "official" though, however it would be nice to see the bots brought back up and functioning appropriately like they were before. If not, at least keep the thread (list) updated, such as removing the names of the people that are no longer on the team, adding names of new helpers to it, etc. That way players can try privately messaging possibly online helpers, know who's a helper and who isn't, etc. Would be nice to see this being taken care of.

Mods still do answer questions, so long as they don't have their whispers blocked.
And what are some possible scenarios that you would need to find real helpers vs people who just answer questions? because I can't really think of any

What if people have questions about the Helpers team that can't be answered by a casual player in a random room? Usually blurting out a question in a room won't get you answers as efficiently as you can with a Helper.

On the topic of finding Helpers online, I fully agree that at least the Micetigri bot needs to be fixed, but that's fully up to Thewav.

Usually, people don't actually join the #help channel often. People who do are players who are willing to help. Only seen one player this week join because they needed help with how to get coordinates for grounds on the map they were making.

This could be because players aren't aware that there's a chat dedicated to helping, but regardless, people still reside in that chat.
If people need us, we'll be there. It would be nice to fix the Micetigri bot, though!

Moderators already get a billion whispers and even though there are some nice moderators willing to answer your questions, there's a higher chance you'd get a response from a Helper. Moderators moderate.. Mute, ban, etc. While the Helpers apply mainly to answer your questions and help you with things. The helpers would also help with reducing the amount of private messages the moderators receive (A little perhaps, but still helps).
Yes, you can get help by players that aren't helpers, however a few players would rather get a response from a helper and as mentioned above, there are a few questions not all players can respond to.

I still think Helpers need their own command, and if Mods arent able to answer questions and are on silent they should direct to them to Helpers or something. Helpers I think need to be more well known on TFM so mods dont get whispers all the time. Sometimes mods are unable to respond, and if helpers were more well known then people might be able to get their answers faster.

Yes, It can be great idea only, then that may be staff position. If admins can accept this ''Helper'' application, to create commands, it will be greatful. Accualy, Moderators, are those, who help to players in game, do sanctions, clear caffee e.c., but almoust all won't respond (because they are too busy) anway. Then, if moderators didn't respond to mouse in soon time, then, (she, he) can use ''helper command'', to find ''Helpers'' on the list, to contact with them, and they will help. Also, helper don't need any ability to game, (only chat commant is needed), so, I /support.

If you wish to contact a Helper, whisper Micetigri with the command "helpers (your community)" (example: /c Micetigri helpers EN) or check our online list at http://api.micetigri.fr/helpers/online or go to the first page of this topic and at the top click 'The Team' to see members of the team.

Helpers are not part of Atelier 801 staff and as I far I know there is no plan to ever implement any official affiliation between Helpers and Atelier 801.

It always brings a jolt when I see the Helper project still around. I left the team as leader a few years ago already, but I'm happy to see it's been passed on as the years cycle through.
