Left as is: @7538798 - Rei#6705 - This map seems very generic for a survivor map, as the layout is common, therefore resulting in uninteresting gameplay. There is far too much room for the mice which could make it too difficult for the shaman to kill efficiently. The water on the bottom is completely unnecessary. The fact that mice start on the bottom and are unable to jump up to the next platforms, and the fact that there are no platforms below limits the mice's mobility. Despite the bottom board being long, in future maps, it's better to ensure mice have at least a couple places to go. @7000604 - V_21#0000 - While the map doesn't have too much wrong with it, the layout is repetitive to things we've seen, making the gameplay cliche. The only issues with the map overall, is that the gameplay feels cramped. Not only that, but since the ice is in the middle, it barricades the shaman's builds, allowing them to abuse objects to wipe out mice easily. @7348567 - V_21#0000 - Firstly, ramps in survivor maps are easy to take advantage of, as mice will camp against the ramp and wait for a cannon to launch themselves upwards, which is why we normally advise against using them when map making. It doesn't matter how small or big they are, as they'll still be abused. The layout seems a bit stereotypical for survivor, leaving gameplay to be bland. The shaman spawn is too close to the information bar, and reduces the firing range. @7539038 - Syc#1270 - Map is too similar to other maps in rotation in terms of gameplay. @7539377 - Blueloving#4498 - Collision in survivor makes impossible gameplay, as everyone would be busy jumping on each others heads and making one another fall to their death, or pushing shaman off when they are trying to summon. Ice is something that we normally wouldn't advocate, as it can be annoying to play on. The boxes that spawn in the beginning are hindrances, and shouldn't be placed, as they can be used to wipe out all the mice, unless the mice know how to survive a box, which is rare. There is too much space for the mice to roam, making it a bit unfair for the shaman. As for where the shaman spawns, it's too close to the information bar, and if somehow mice got up there, they wouldn't be able to die, as there is no top to keep the shaman in, or the mice out, and mice are able to camp in it, while cannons will just slam them against the walls. Decorations are not allowed in P10, like the lava lamps you used at the shaman box. The mice are also limited to the bottom platform, unless they get lucky and are shot up by a cannon, limiting their mobility. Platforms need to be able to be reached in one way or another, rather than limiting mice to a single place. The shaman is also forced to move, as the middle platform blocks any oncoming cannons and shield the mice from destruction and chaos. @7539379 - Blueloving#4498 - Water in survivor maps is something we don't advise, as both mice and shaman are easily able to abuse it. Water as platforms would just allow mice to go up and down, easily dodging the cannons without worry of actually dying. As the shaman spawns on the ice platform, makes it more difficult for them to shaman, considering they won't be able to stay still, making it more annoying to shaman. The block at the bottom of the map that sticks up from the large platform prohibits mice from dying, as they're able to just sit against it without actually dying. Oncoming cannons will just shoot them into the wall, and they won't budge. Overall, if the layout consisted of wooden platforms, there would be far too many, making mobility too much for the mice, which can be a bad thing, as the shaman won't have the time to have a fair chance of killing all the mice. Also, in future maps, please try to keep all grounds inside the visible area, as some people are unable to see outside of it. @7539426 - Xeenoxo#0000 - The top platform where the shaman spawns is far too close to the information bar. In most areas, the shaman is forced to move to get to where they can shoot the mice, because the vertical platforms block oncoming cannons. The middle platform is a camping ground, as mice are able to just jump against the wall, and the shaman won't be able to reach them unless they move to shoot them. There is a bit too many platforms, causing it to feel a bit cramped when it comes to gameplay. The top middle platform also blocks oncoming cannons, and can be annoying for shamans. @7515127 - John#9081 - This map is similar to maps already in rotation. Also, for future reference, try not to have ice overlapping wood, as it can be misleading, and mice will just slide off and die. @1252949 - Jota#0676 - As said before, the ice on the sides of the platforms limits mobility, and traps the mice to the bottom should they go there. The top platforms are too close to the information bar, and the overall layout is stereotypical. @6650888 - Vintage#0246 - The mouse spawn is far too small, and would force the mice to move. Small platforms are unfair as mice don't have anywhere to run or hide. The overall layout is uninteresting, and makes for boring gameplay. Left as is: @1252949 - Jota#0676 - Unfortunately for this map, no matter how many edits you do, it won't be added to the rotation, as the gameplay is boring. This was expressed in past reviews of the map, and now needs to be said more bluntly. @7540077 - Nejiz#0000 - Firstly, circles in maps aren't usually recommended, as they are able to act as ramps for mice to launch themselves upwards. Ramps in general are something that make gameplay difficult for the shaman. Considering the only way to die is down, since there is a roof, and sides made of ice, the gameplay overall would be too difficult for the shaman given how many platforms there are for the mice to escape to. The overall layout is stereotypical and leads to boring gameplay. The enclosure also makes the gameplay feel a bit cramped. Cheese is a hindrance in survivor, and can be annoying to play with. The bottom circle prohibits the shaman from their starting point to adequately aim at all the mice, as the platforms above block off oncoming cannons. This would force the shaman to move. The fact that items and cannons go through the platform don't help as the mice would be confused from cannons that just go through the platform to hit them. Fake grounds are not allowed in survivor. Also, if you are going to add a roof in future maps, please make them visible so mice know that they aren't able to go as high as they want to. The ice at the bottom corners would also prohibit the mice from dying properly, as they're able to hit the corners and bounce back to the circles in the middle, making it much more difficult for the shaman to kill them as the mice will just keep surviving. @7539426 - Xeenoxo#0000 - Unfortunately, despite the changes to the map, it won't be added to rotation because the layout is stereotypical and leads to boring gameplay. The mice are still able to hide behind the vertical platforms, which forces the shaman to move, and the mice are still able to hide against the inner corners and just jump and not die. The shaman would need to shoot the cannon at a specific angle, or use a spirit, which can be annoying to some players. Also, with the lower platform removed, it leaves the information bar to be in the way of oncoming cannons towards the mice from their spawn point. @7540474 - Xeenoxo#0000 - This map is like too many in rotation. @7540479 - Rei#6705 - This map is like a map already in rotation, but with a triangle ramp at the bottom instead of flat grounds. For future reference, ramps are not recommended, as mice are able to use them to launch themselves upwards after camping against them. @7540477 - Rei#6705 - The grounds in this map are placed awkwardly and make it a bit uncomfortable to play on. The layout of the map is extremely cliche, and would result in boring gameplay for regular survivor players. Considering the size of the platforms and the placement, it makes the gameplay feel a bit cramped, despite the mice having room to roam and the shaman room to shoot. While the mice are able to roam, they're also limited to two platforms, and if they go to the bottom one, they're stuck there unless a cannon picks them up and shoots them to the higher platforms. @7540488 - Rei#6705 - The information bar is practically eating and digesting the shaman at the shaman's spawnpoint. Every platform seems a bit too spaced out, and really limits where the mice can go. Mice are able to hide against the inner corners of the bottom platforms, and unless the shaman moves, they are able to dodge all oncoming cannons, due to the middle platform blocking the range of the cannons. All three top platforms are too high, and cut off the shaman's range a ton due to the information bar. The layout is entirely stereotypical, and would result, overall, in boring gameplay. @7540669 - Fastyle#0000 - Water in maps enables the mice, and shaman to exploit the use of the water and either survive by moving up and down the water, or slow down the cannons enough to confuse the mice and wipe them out. Cheese is something we'd normally not praise, as it can be annoying to play with. The layout is an exhausted set up, and would result in sterile or boring gameplay. It would also be easy for the mice to hug the shaman, considering how closely placed the platforms are, and would be annoying for the shaman. @7540724 - Keyx#0000 - The grounds that move up and down are extremely unstable. One cannon shot against them will send both of the moving platforms flying. Literally. Shamans are also able to wait out the disappearing platforms, and shoot all the mice with one easy swoop as they're all corralled into one small platform, unable to escape to higher platforms as they can't reach them. All it would take is one headsurf. While we can appreciate the experimental mechanics, unfortunately they wouldn't work for this map. @7533725 - Keyx#0000 - The map is extremely cramped, and limits mobility almost entirely for the mice, as there's no way for them to reach higher ground. The moving circles are also extremely annoying to play around and all shamans would become irritated from them. Yes, the cage is different, it's not just a box in a corner, but that doesn't make the design something that is entirely functional. The sentiment is there, but the overall map has a terrible layout and is highly in favor of the shaman wiping them out with one good headsurf. @7541079 - Hyung#2985 - The cloud grounds have such a weak strength that they're practically useless. This doesn't mean to make their power over 9000 and expect it to be better. The mice spawn is a bit too small, and doesn't give them enough room to run from oncoming cannons. The same can be said for the top left and right platforms. They're too small and have no sufficient room, should mice get up there. The fact that the bottom left and right platforms are separated, shamans are able to exploit it and put a plank in the middle of them, which could trap mice should they get behind the plank. The layout is a bit stereotypical, and would result in average or boring gameplay. As for the cloud grounds against the sides of the top platforms, if a cannon is shot just right, a shaman would be able to use it to their advantage, and shoot cannons (slowly) high up, then swarm other mice with other oncoming, faster cannons. They wouldn't stand a chance. @7541432 - Imcaduu#9916 - Lava in survivor maps is a no-no, as it's unfair for the mice, and sometimes if the shaman steps on it, totally unfair for them too. The top designs are completely unnecessary. Cheese would only cause mice to get annoyed if they somehow got up there, the trampolines are a bit usless, but we don't normally recommend adding them in survivor at any rate, as shamans can abuse them with cannons. The top designs are far too close to the information bar, and entirely inconvenient to get to. Should mice get launched up to them, the shaman would have to force themselves to get up there, which more often is done by a balloon, and that eats up time. The layout is stereotypical, and results in boring gameplay. My advice to you is to play some more survivor rounds, and hopefully get an idea of what we're looking for in maps.
