Walljumping isn't a glitch, it's a feature. It's intended to be here. Tigrounette never had the intention of making rotated grounds able to connect to eachother, but it happened and indeed maps rely on it.
But instead of just removing it alltogether, (as impure said) tig listened to us and added a replacement feature, so you can still connect grounds to eachother, even if they're not directly touching.
Yes, it is done through XML editing, but if you want to make good maps, you must be willing to learn, it's as simple as that.

Fxie a dit :
Also, AXIS works with JD

Are you sure about that? It doesn't change anything when I try it.
Could you give an example, perhaps?

That's weird, I swear this mech didn't work without AXIS before. Apparently I overlooked something when playing with this when it first came out. Would be extremely beneficial if AXIS did work with JD, though. Fixed rotation requires a few workarounds using JP.

Incorrect. Walljumping was discovered the same way as a glitch. It has become convention the same way Rype glitch did. Fixing it would draw frustration and annoyance the same way that happened with Rype Glitch.

Also, I have adapted before to Tig's changes. I reiterate: I will adapt again.

The most annoying part about this update was that it came suddenly for me. No warning, and I didn't even learn about it until someone mentioned "I want Rype glitch back" on one of the contests. If the update is something this big, it should at least have been announced as one of the main changes in the update.

My rage has largely passed now. I really just wanted to let out some steam that accumulated over the years. Forgive me.

I find the OP to be an amazing reference. Most of the post you don't even need; the templates are the most useful bits. Good quick reference.

Some parts are hard to follow though, the templates might be good, but his effort in the OPis apalling. (No offence Nick)

None taken.

Apparently you can use Px parameters in all tags and they all produce interesting results.

Seems I'll have to update the OP once I work them all out.

As what elvis said many younger players arent used to "Complex" mechs we need rype back not perfect but at least we are able to make mechs with it so the players can have fun and at least 1/2 of the mechs require rype glitch and many players have no clue how to use it the new system is good but its not very clear to understand and do i had no idea what impure was talking about in his video rype glitch made things wayy simpler its very vital in our maps to make it more simple and not complex with this new system, temple was one of the best mech map makers i've seen about all his maps are broken due to tig removing rype glitch. many players are sad that the glitch is gone and a lot of them can't make mechs anymore.

Maybe there could be a "bug" mode alongside the debug mode in which you can use the previous glitches. *-*
I don't know how it would work but I would use that all the time.
