Why would the maps be copycat maps? They only need to be similarly themed. If, for example, you and your partner chose to do Portal Shaman, you could do plenty of things with that without resorting to simply copying eachothers maps.

And the "teamwork" part is helping each other with your maps. You and your partner are both in to win so I'd think that it's quite crucial here.

Also, for the theme in cat1, the examples given appear to be gameplay oriented. I'm assuming we're able to choose an art theme for the category?
