To be honest, I think if they added the testing hacks part in, it'll just attract more people that want to have fun with hacks.

Without a proper application form, that isn't a good idea.

The best would have been an all around post that explains EVERYTHING, includes an application form and warns you that you are playing with fire here.

But honestly, this is going to do more harm than good. Also, I can't see Tig suddenly starting to patch things when before all this jazz, people were already reporting hacks to staff.

It would be nice if they edited that in, it could let people know what they're getting in too... (not that it'd hinder the the amount of apps they'll recieve)

This is something I brought up with Kura the other day about a different announcement thread, he posted an update nearly 40 pages later and I asked him to /mss the update too for more visibility. All credit to him, he did it and it really helped my whisper spam at the time ^^.

I'm not really sure why we're bothering sharing our ideas on the system here at all though, as has been proven in the past, not even unanimous disagreement can budge the proverbial post that is an admin decision.

ya but how often does the admin team have enough common sense to think hey wait a minute maybe we should explain everything in one post rather than forcing people to search through 40+ pages to find vital information about the position they're applying for

honestly just waiting for when the admins are like crap this was a shitty idea let's just not hire anyone and pretend it never happened

Maybe to prove that the people applying aren't stupid. Or they actually put in the effort to search for information about the position they're applying for? Well I guess you do need to be good at searching things if you're applying for something that you need to search for new hacks and stuff. Or probably the admins just didn't realise how unclear the post is.

For me, is unclear who is going to vote for the apps, derp.

I think this depends on how many people they choose, and who they choose.

protip for admins : if the user's paragraph has "Brigade AntiHack" in it, just skip it because the person used a translator

To sum up my feelings on this: It won't work, it'll hurt TFM more than help it, good luck Atelier if you go down this route.

Do note how you apparently don't have to be 18 years old for this. How do these French laws work, really?
