pretty sure pming as yourself with your own profile is the valid proof they need and possibly to mention you want to request to delete. other than that i dont think it would convince them to delete the account, and as it goes for spamming, its best advised to not to do it to make it worse for the one who is rather doing it

Who said anyone was spamming the admins? You can use the contact form to state that you want your account deleted rather than having to go through this. Even with this whole confirmation code in place, what if said "hacker" also knows your email? Then how else would this process be reliable?

Or, y'know, you can always just stop playing the game on the account you want to remove.

If you have multiply accounts you want to remove. So maybe the names would be available to change to?

the account for alts already exists on a801, but i dont think they would buy this one, though they could look same ip, but it is problematic as some other friend or a person in a public place playing via it might get abused (thats my take on this one)

so i think its not that hard to spend 2 minutes on quickly logging in and make a short request to delete your account through the X alt.

e: and no devs changes name if player is breaking the rules by having something inappropiate in the username (for the most part of cases), other than that pay up 1.5k fraises

Looks like it is not possible to unlink e-mail account

You can't exactly unlink your email, but you can change your email. If it's yours, then you can get a code to confirm your change; if it's not yours, or if you lost it, you will have to use the contact form.
I got my email changed very recently via the contact form.

This could be really useful for many players but thanks to hackers those players get less opportunities. I wanted to change my username but I cannot because I forgot I had actually made an alt account with that username to stop people from taking it (idiotic, I know). It's a big big shame especially since I was debating for so long whether or not to change it. The code being sent to both accounts is a GREAT idea. And if hackers get around it? It would SUCK, but life goes on, let them enjoy their two minutes of victory. ;-;
