So really, this suggestion is not needed. I take away my previous support of this, and say the thread should be locked, because the idea would take the challenge out of map making.

Yes you are correct but what your saying isn't the idea of this thread, the idea of this thread is TFM needs more special grounds. I'll take you off the support but we do need creativeity. not just something already done. We need something new! :) I hope you understand, the idea isn't even to make this ground, it's to make a new special ground that has some new abilitys other the "Rectangle"

I think I will get to work in map editor to try and make something similar to this though, and see if this idea is really necesarry.

At what point in the ground is this determined? Halfway? That would be pretty impossible to detect with wide grounds.

Some where in this thread mouse said that you wouldnt have an l value, only a h value because it wouldnt make sense to have it wider

I'm very sure what would happen would be like restriction, you stand on it and it would push you the way the red side is restricting, or if you were standing on the corners same effect, and if this is so i see very cretive use using it as a meathod. :o

And is it just me or does it seem like fxie is trying to find ways to make people /no support :/ we do need a new ground anyway you know.

A new ground, sure. But this is already possible via mechanisms, and this ground idea is kinda' shitty since it would just noob up map editor.
Tigrou is already developing new grounds, as far as I know. Impuredeath suggested a "wind" ground, that would propel mice, it would be like a cloud ground that shoots mice in the aimed direction. He is also currently working on up-scrolling maps I beleive.
