There's no problem with my suggestion that would cause that, it's all depending on the leader's password security. If they have a good password and keep it a secret, then that wont happen. If any cheese is wasted/lost it's really the leader's fault for not keeping a secure password/account.

And if you get hacked, all depending on your security.

I don't overestimate nor underestimate children's common sense/logic. I'm sure a lot of them have a brain to use to make up a password that's not 100% obvious. And those who don't, again, it's their fault.

It always has been that way, when a player's account pass gets guessed and someone gets into it the moderators always told them "Keep a secure password."

alot of children will probely choose a password as "password" or "qwerty"
these are most common passwords

The help/rules section does inform the players about the risks of easy passwords, and if the player does not read this and choose a good password; that's the players fault.
