If the user of the account is given multiple warnings and emails about it, then it's a great idea. So many users are taken by people who never play.

I would support ONLY if it made that name available but did not delete the account. They would have to change the way you login though to emails or something since you can't have 2 people logging in with the same name. 1 year is way too short imo, I have multiple emails and recently I realized some were deleted due to inactivity for a year and the others that didn't get deleted were completely empty and it ticked me right off because I don't want to have to login to keep my account active if I have no reason to login to it at that moment. Also many people quit for years and come back.

1 year is maybe too short time I think? Actually I was quitted TFM for a year maybe less but came back. I think I would agree for 2-3 years...

Maybe the account's name should be changed to Souris something once it's name has been removed.

Pretty sure there's a separate thread for this by the same player.. not sure where it went though.

So long as the persons account is not deleted, they're able to keep all their stats and people on their friends list, then i wouldn't mind, however maybe there could be a way so you're able see what that old players user name was, least this way the people on your friends list will know your username has been changed.

If you're able to do this then I'll happily support

Honestly I support more the name changing side because I like my name but the "bu" part bugs me a little. This is a good idea but it's difficult to make it work.

The deletion accounts should be something separate from name changing. As they are similar their still two different suggestions.

Dont get offtopic, especially to a name changing point, when they have already stated they will add the feature for some amount of fraises

I want my real name.

Someone could not have access to a computer or game or may be banned from Transformice by their parents. There are tons of possibilities that could screw someone over.

Lets say, a new one comes to transformice, someone with a good name, and relaly likes it. They get caught up in chores, come back a year later to see that their accoutns been deleted? Thats not fair! I get caught up in chores all the time and i love my name! I have to pay to keep it alive? You shouldn't have to pay for a name that i created! If i did, transformice would be dead! i spent my entire time on earning cheese, and then you have to come in and be like: PAY UP OR WE'LL DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT! Fuck no! It takes forever to gather cheese, i wont let my work go to waste cause of a "fee" what about the others who dont have 1000 cheese and dont have 500 in the shop? Your gonna take their accounts away cause their noobs? Bullshit! Thats mean and cruel! You force them to stay on every night to gather cheese so their account stays up. This wouldn't be fair at all.

Honestly, I feel this ruins the point of the game. Though it will be nice to have names like 'meow', we can't be sure we'll use them ourselves. As I said, Transformice is a free game. So, I feel there should be an exception.

Maybe gather 100+ cheese within a month or two? I mean that proves that the account is active.


Otherwise I don't have much to say about this. And I'd feel for the mice that work so hard just to get your account deleted.

what if you went for a trip for one year then ur like "OMG I NEVER HAVE TIME TO DO THINGS I CANT WAIT TO GO ON TFM AND EARN THOSE COUPLE MORE FIRSTS TO GET A TITLE!!!!1!!!"
then if u attempt to log in it says ur acc has been deleted then u will be sad and cry

I would like it to happen but I wouldn't like my username being deleted as I was inactive for a year or so. And all the things that those people might have had will be all lost etc.

I understand what you mean. There are thousands of accounts that have been afk for years, and that can stop a lot of new players from finding a name that they like. But what if someone had an account they really liked, with lots of friends and pretty good stats, but that person was offline for a year? It might have been school or chores or anything, but they would still be upset to find their account gone when they log back on. Paying to keep your account safe is useless, because people could still do that for alts and have an account that they almost never use. I think that if your account is connected to email and has been inactive for at least 6 months, you get an email announcement asking if you are still interested in keeping your account. If you say no, you get the rest of the 6 months to decide if you change your mind. If you say yes, then deletion gets postponed for another 18 months, and in a year it will send the email again if you still haven't logged on. Accounts not linked to an email will wait a year and then be deleted. However, if the account has at least 1000 normal mode saves and a total of 1000 gathered cheese it will remain safe, because usually someone who bothers that much with cheese and saves usually plans to keep their account.
