[INTERFACE] Colorblind-Friendly Coloration

This thread seems to be going around in circles with the same suggestions and counters.
Anyway, support from me... as a colorblind option one can select.
My friend is colorblind and I don't see why they shouldn't have a fair opportunity to enjoy a game.

Making the shamans black and white wouldn't look as good, and it would destroy their power.

Also, there are only 300 million people who are color blind.

There are about 2 million tranformice accounts, whereof thousands, if not hundred of thousands of them are either alts or unactive.

The amount of color blind people playing transformice is barely noticable, and changing such a big, and yes, it's big, part of the game, for such a small amount of people, would be unfair and unnecessary.

I've got an idea. How about having a Colorblind option? That way the pink and blue colors can be kept, but colorblind people can switch Colorblind mode on and see the difference.

Elvis, it's not a bad suggestion. I find it sad that there are people who aren't colorblind who are hating on this idea, just because they don't understand colorblind people. Sure, it wouldn't affect you in any way, because if this was implemented it would probably have a toggle option. But, even though dual shaman maps happen every 5 maps or so, it's still a pain for colorblind people to have fun on those maps. A little change like this would mean a lot to those players.

Lagiacruss is 100% right. People who arent colorblind (ie. me and the nonsupporters) should try and look at it from the colorblind's people point of view. They are people too, and soomething helpful implemented would greatly improve their fun. Dont just /no support because you wont use it.

But there are different types of colourblindness, admins would have to make 4-5 times more sprites or texture for all the colourblinds..
or the colourblinds just get filter lenses?
