Tbh I'm against some staff having all the powers, I'd rather prefer having mapcrew or sents testing funcorp and mods doing their job but eh. |

Ifrancesco a dit : So mapcrew and sents don't have a job to do? :p We're all volunteers. |

Reminds me back when some people were given pink skin colors ingame. Good old days |

Veralidaine a dit : Sents doesn't have a "job" ingame. And mapcrew's duty can be less intensive than mods. Nonetheless it's my opinion so it's nothing important |

Ifrancesco a dit : But.. mods don't have a job on the forums either.. So they're supposed to also have powers on the forums if Sentinels are going to have more powers in-game..? The best thing is to apply for FunCorp. :p Dernière modification le 1444804620000 |

It's a different staff team. They are Sentinel and Funcorp, just like how staff can be Sentinel and Mapcrew. Moderator duties are not being increased here. |

I never said that they shouldn't have those powers. I said it's best if they apply for it, instead of just giving Sentinels and MapCrew more powers in-game than moderators. ![]() |

We don't have more power than moderators. FunCorp's abilities are actually pretty limited at the moment, and none of them are for moderation purposes. We are able to deal with troublemakers in our FunCorp rooms by kicking them out, but that's all. Actual moderation of the game is still strictly the moderators' duty. |

OFC it is. Nobody is sayin something different. But moderating is so time consuming that maybe having mods involved in other position would make them performance a bit worse in other positionscthey applied for. At least this is my point of view |

Ifrancesco a dit : So you mean mods aren't permitted to kick back and have fun once in a while? Because that's the vibe I'm grasping from your posts. Mods can handle reports while they're playing in a FunCorp room as easily as they could in any other room. I don't see what the big deal is lol. I'm pretty sure moderators know to not focus on the room over their reports. They're all mature adults. |

Haruhitastic a dit : You are right but it's not like there are 10 moderators online at the same time, and there are 2031909413203211239132 reports that they have to deal with, and I understand that they are busy and have the right to have fun.. but all we are saying here is that mods will be even MORE busy if they are doing FunCorp and handling reports as well and it will be more slow (since they have to focus on the room + reports).. Even sometimes when people are getting reported, it takes a long time for them to handle the situation... They really need to hire a lotttttttttt of moderators. 1 - Lots of mods were hired recently. Remember that big EN hiring? :P 2 - You keep insisting that this is some thing that will take ~allllll~ their time. It's no different than a regular room. It just so happens you have special powers in it. That's it. It will be no more distracting. Your lack of faith in your staff team is disappointing. |

charbelsa a dit : If you think about it, "Fun" is not a job to do. Is more of a casual action to not only engage the FunCorp himself but to other players as well. Its not a job, its a title. They will create fun when they want to FunCorp does not really drag them down (unless if you are concern of players forcing these people to make 'fun', then thats an issue but is really doesn't drag down their job as a moderator in anyway) Besides, is not only moderators that has the power Dernière modification le 1444834980000 |

Haruhitastic a dit : 1- And unfortunately I sometimes see that there are no EN mods online. 2- Uhm. They are supposed to take care of the room they're in.. and take care of 203183294124781284132 reports.. then they go check that room and the other one and etc.. AT THE SAME TIME? Especially that if the room is crowded (80+ mice) and people keep spamming, cussing and etc etc. Also they have to make those FunCorp commands/use the powers. techtriostep a dit : As I said above, they have to take care of FunCorp and the other rooms as well at the same time.. so it will make it more slow. |

charbelsa a dit : And this is why the use of /report is so important. The new hires are still arbs/mod trainees. They're not ready to be public yet. charbelsa a dit : And they would literally be doing the same thing if they were playing in any other public room, so what is your point? Are you saying mods aren't permitted to play the game and have fun? Because friendly reminder, in the beginning of their own personal rules post, it says they are players first. Also, mod alts are a thing. And have been for years. |

The whole point of the FunCorp is to provide something fun and interesting for the players. Everyone who is currently part of the team volunteered to be a part of it, we weren't added automatically. So it's kind of hurtful to see some of you saying that moderators shouldn't be allowed to be involved in that. And yes, we know that we need more moderators and we are always in the process of training new people. You seem to be forgetting that EN just held applications a few months back. |
