Try as you might, you are not emo. Perhaps goth, or punk, or a jock, or just a poser...not totally sure. But whatever you are, you are one pair of tight pants too short to really be called emo. Look on the bright side though...well...because that's what non-emo people do.

You are a true emo! some are happy, some are depressed. You are the depressed one. (you're not alone, I am too. and no I'm not posing fake depression It's been prescribed by a doctor) Not all emos have fringes and colored hair, wear black, eyeliner etc etc. Some emos are just comfortable with different styles and music. A true emo is not about being depressed (although some true emos are), but expressing how you feel creatively such as through writing, art, or music.

UPDATE- Due to some people being confused about their result, I want to add this small note: There are actually two endings for being a true emo- a true happy emo and a true depressed emo. the other two would be the posers and the depressed but not emo. I personally see no problem with the answer. I hope that cleared a little bit up!
UPDATE 2- Due to only six to five questions you may get an answer that is inaccurate, or slightly off. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. ALSO the result "you are likely just depressed" have answers that are based off of real depression symptoms, such as not enjoying an old hobby anymore. I thought the answers would be a bit more accurate that way.
