Um what is the point of the election?

I think the elections should stay but tweaked. Having polls is sorta useless, and the requirements are too. It's more of a popularity contest now.

Honestly, many ppl on TFM are asking me to vote for them and then I tell them "I don't know you thou. Don't u have to vote for ppl u know will be a good person?" And then they get an attitude about the whole thing and the blackmail me and report me and stuff. And they embarrass me and tell LIES about me when they don't even know me l.l
The blackmailing isn't too bad it's just that if I don't vote for them, they will tell everyone that I'm a noob.
Honestly I don't care about what they say, I just tell them it's not true and then I report and block them and then I carry on in life YOLO

So remove it.

its useless before making that they could have been doing something else that would be USEFUL not trying to rush and make updates to come quick on tfm but they could have did something better when they made this ELECTION a thing, if that makes since to you.

i'm half n half

i like the idea of the community president in charge of the community and trying to poke fun with polls to bring up others days but the problem with the election system is the whole community of tfm. from what i've experienced, it's more of the more recognized cafers or the people with the most firsts as a president rather than someone with a catchy slogan or trying to improve others days. what also bothers me is how the cafers bring in polls, many times where they sexualize it into something one would rather fest their eyes away from (there are children on the game, id rather it was something about your favorite color or how to improve tfm rather than something some people like me wouldn't quite find funny) i'd rather have them just delete polls in general and give the president no powers except the fact they have their name somewhere on the menu.

the rare occasions my friends or people i look up to become a president or mayor of the community, however, i feel quite happy for them and aspire to do the same (which ive became few fur communities' mayor of en2 before) so i do believe there are positive out comes.

so what i say is it's really the tfm community's fault for ruining a perfectly good election system in tfm and i hope that they realize that they shouldn't be talking about masturbating in polls, as it is very innapropriate and not the most mature thing to do with your time

yeah I agree /support remove this, power corrupts and when only teens can have the power, the corruption just becomes that much worse. To the point where you get something like this, imagine a 10 year old not knowing that word, and googling it, ehhhhh that won't be good.

The election system does not add anything to the game and, in my opinion, should be either removed or revamped.

you can say it in chat to like 25 people, that goes out to literally everyone on the server. Numbers matter.

It doesn't really affect your gameplay or anything. It might as well stay.

I never see a poll when I'm not doing anything because half the mayors probably don't know they can even make one.

I DO get poll pop-ups when I'm about to get a first, and it's maddening

Improve it, don't remove it. Make it more democratic and give presidents more power, more influence over aspects of the game!

do not give presidents more power, they have no idea what is the best for this game. the president position is pointless, particularly in that i can see how many votes each of the candidates have (unlike a real election) and they are ordered in a list rather than in grid format which would mean not every random votes for number one. it is a terrible system and should either be removed entirely due to the fact it's a popularity contest and total farce, or revamped by players who actually know a thing or two.

Remove it please. The precidency does nothing. It just make you more popular.

This is exactly why it SHOULD be removed. People are making random quotes not resembling to the game, for example people say "If you don't vote for me fidget spinners will attack the world!"

With the most recent update, this feature has been removed from the game.
