Apparently, many copyright laws have be surpassed (My Little Pony manes in shop; Pokemon themed items, relics, etc.). However, anime can be generic.
We've also recently had a Japanese-like event, including the title «Souris-chan».

On a different level, however, as much as I admire anime itself, it wouldn't be a good idea to have this as an event. What kind of event would be held for it? Anime is pretty much an art-style with design components that involve large eyes, specific shading, and a specific animation style. Would Transformice just come up with some anime charactered-theme (or just use one that's copyrighted and take a risk)?

Also, think about everyone's opinions. We have those who like anime, and those who are against anime. Transformice would have to risk all the flame-wars and abhor messages they'd receive.

Atelier801 really shouldn't do this just due to the fact of its community.

I don't understand why people don't support this and say that Japan themed event would be better. Sure, there are people who strongly dislike anime, but wouldn't it be stupid if there was a Japan themed event? If there's gonna be Japan themed event, there should be more country themed events such as Lithuania, Hungary and so on.
