To do hair what I do is I create the sections that I want, so in this case there was 3, the thick part hanging down, the thick strand laying across her face, and the hair going behind her head, then for each of those sections, apply random vertical shading of both random light and dark shading just streaking up and down, once it's all done use the blend tool up and down so its all blended cleanly together, after go through the saturation and lightness because after you shade itll look somewhat different, the saturation will get you the color you want, then youre done, also blend the edges so the hair blends into transparency as it goes out like real hair since itd be getting less thick as it goes out.

It sounds like it takes quite a bit of a time-consuming process.
Though that's good! These methods make the finished product even better.

Yeah I'd like to, but I can't ever find any male models, idk, plus I really love drawing hair and females specifically have longer hair.
