Nah, that's random, if you are really lucky and efficient you can get 2 or even 3, but it's rare for sure. I haven't seen anyone managing that yet, this year.

After the restart on 11/07/20 ~11-30 GMT, the interval between events decreased from 25 minutes to 18 minutes.

That's nice to know.
Also, if you guys are selling your relics, how much are you selling them for right now? I've been able to consistently sell relics for around 30cc, was able to sell one for 50cc, and people I see offering it for a ridiculous 200cc. I'd love to hear what the relic market is at right now.

How many minutes does the event come from?

So I've heard that certain relics are rarer than others, which I also believe so, but does anyone know which ones are the so called "rare relics"?

The best way to judge that is to spend some time in *#trade. Only there you can see the actual market value of each relic. And yeah, that changes over time, sometimes by the minute. It's like a stock market. Now, if we want to "predict" the rarity/value of a relic in the market, that's another story and it usually involves our favorite sport, reverse engineering the game's code, trying to guess the way they have set up the event. For example, how often does the event map come? How often does a specific event map come? Does the Ship map come as often as the other 3 maps? More often? Less often? What is the average relic drop ratio, I mean, how many times do you have to fish, on average, to get a relic? Where do the most players fish on maps with 4 different fishing spots? Where do the least players fish? All these are factors that are not always easy to guess.
And there are more things that affect the rarity/value of a relic. For example, the Ship map has only one fishing spot, the other maps have 4. You can get only 5 relics on the Ship map, but on the others you can get 18, on the Island map actually it's 19. Some fishing spots have 4 relics available, some have 5. All this also affects the chances of getting a specific relic fragment. And then there are the event rewards. Different sets of completed relics (A, B, C, D, E, F) give different rewards. Some give tickets, others give orbs, badges etc. These also affect the market value and rarity of their respective fragments, as you can understand.
I could go on, about other factors that affect the rarity of relics but you get the idea. So, whenever someone asks which relics are the rare ones, the answer is... It's complicated and uncertain. And we definitely can't know that for sure. And the answer might be different in an hour, or in a day from now.
