  • @7386424 - The map uses the ice grounds well, they are positioned in a way that gives a false sense of stability when newer shamans lean planks on them and expect the planks to stay. Please remove the plankhold as it trivialises the aforementioned challenge and edit the placement of cheese to incentivise the use of the bottom path.

Cave#0647
  • @7780156 - This is a pretty unique map concept with interesting ways to complete the map. Please change the colour of the timer ground to distinguish it from other grounds in minimalist.

Frostedcookie#7453
  • @7880710 - This is a generic map that can be completed by simply laying a few planks and anvils over. It has a linear gameplay that would deem unsuitable in our already populated category.

Krome#1204
  • @7584030 - This is a generic map with unbalanced paths. It has a linear gameplay that would deem unsuitable in our already populated category.

Eduard11#2625
  • @7608013 - By simply using one plank to rest against two balloons, the map makes for a trivial base. Thereafter, the exactly symmetrical design results in an underwhelming build.

  • @7884971 - The swing feels painfully short and could've been executed much better. Additionally, the shaman does not even need to swing, thus breaking the concept of the map.

Cave#0647
  • @7816610 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: While the map idea is certainly interesting and something new to divinity, the execution is still lacking. The map is lacking in terms of the build made. Mice are able to reach the hole if shamans choose to spawn a solid plank for its base and the “bridge” downwards only consist of one plank. Despite having variations in pushing the dynamic ground, these core parts of the builds remain the same, resulting in boring and repetitive gameplay.

    > Maybe: The map can be fairly easily cheesed by building a ramp for the cheese then zig zagging planks and attaching boxes to them to move the block down. Nevertheless, I still think it's interesting and the gimmicky nature can be mitigated by shoving it into cat 2.

    > No: I don't know how I feel about this map. It feels kinda linear and lacks replay value. Essentially you're constructing a basic H base around the dynamic ground that is simply offset horizontally. Moving the build horizontally to the left could be trivialized by spamming. Leaning towards more on the No.

    > Neutral: I think some people liked this map when it was submitted previously, personally I find this map very boring to play on.

Condensation#0000
  • @7882296 - It seems like the map was poorly put together with no end goal or concept in mind. You could very easily construct a weak build around the ice to complete the map.

Shetthat#0000
  • @7653224 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: Extremely cramped and the symmetrical layout only serves to make this map repetitive. I preferred the old version before edits were applied.

    > Maybe: The map requires some level of skill to balance the build, which when executed properly can be fun and challenging. However, due to the repetitiveness of the builds made and the tight constraints, I find the map pretty unenjoyable. Potential with further edits.

  • @7877920 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: I think this swing is a bit excessive. I also regularly have trouble getting my shim boxes out without having stuff fall into my build and destroy it. (Is this the intended method?)

    > No: The limited range covers a small portion of what is supposed to be built here. This kind of feat becomes very unenjoyable and almost suffocating in the rotation. I admit however that it is a challenging map to have fun with when the clock doesn't tick..

  • @7881195 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > Maybe: For the most part, the map is similar to @7687678. The difference setting these two maps apart is the execution of the basing. The latter map is preferable as it has the element of urgency and balancing. Nonetheless, I have no big issues with this map as is.

    > No: So basically, take @7724497 and turn it into ice, which limits the amount of bases possible. This arguably sucks the whole fun out of it. More should be done to avoid such simplistic builds and bases

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm#4582
  • @7884439 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: Interesting concept but the map does not execute it well at all. The aesthetic choices made in this map are questionable, please do not overuse colours when they are not required. As for the gameplay, it would be a lot more interesting if the map required the shaman to build on the ground rather than some kind of body base. Also, the low mass grounds kill tabbed out/low fps mice.

    > No: Alternatively, I think this was a boring map concept stolen from vanilla maps. The attempt to make the concept better was there, but unfortunately it wasn't executed properly. There are plenty of loopholes around the cage which makes me inclined to believe that the map was not tested out prior to submission.

  • @7677008 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: There isn't really a map with extreme wind in #divinity yet, so it's nice that the map is something new. Unfortunately, it seems like the map has not been tested.

    > No: A better shaman is easily able to cannon mice from spawn to the cheese. This discourages building, which should not be the case for a #divinity map. Though I will agree this is a somewhat new concept.

    > No: It's an unclear concept with a distracting design that makes my brain tired by looking at it.

  • @7884361 - The following are individual opinions from each reviewer:

    > No: The mech is currently too unstable to be considered for rotation. Although appearing to be stable to the shaman, simply ballooning the circle can make it disappear entirely for others.

    > No: I don't see anything Divinity-worthy with this map. Given the lack of stable grounds to work with, the shaman would then construct a random balloon car in hopes that things will go as planned. The map feels more suitable for the normal room rotation with no clear directions.

Wiannix#7716
  • @7828748 - The concept is similar to @472860, except this map encourages stacking boxes more.

  • @7829652 - It's not obvious the wood grounds are dynamic which could lead to mass death. Due to the rush element of the map, it seems like the map is more suitable for vanilla. Furthermore, the map is too trivial – only requiring laying of weights and a single plank bridge. Even as a low diff map, it fails to impart any Divinity-specific concept.

Danielmago#0000
  • @4727960 - Grounds feel really randomly placed as shamans can literally ignore a large majority of the map. The grounds also contribute to overwhelming players at first glance, which may cause newer players to get flustered. It is doubtful that players would pass through the top right cloud (and hence, yet again, making it redundant) due to the placement of the cheese. It is also suggested to make the mice spawn’s ground longer to avoid unnecessary deaths.

  • @2470808 - Currently, the map encourages shamans to force through grounds for a base, especially through the cloud ground. While originally intending to be an obstacle, the cloud ground ends up as unnecessary and a liability. More thought should be placed on the arrangement of grounds and the intended difficulty of the map.

  • @4724566 - It takes very little effort to complete the map, which is frankly disappointing as compared to the set up of the map.
