If I recall it's that you have to have at least 40 cheese, and each costs 5cheese. But now it seems to be each costs 10.

You did miss the time where tribehouses were free, I assume that was changed again because people started spamming for mapcodes...

I think so though there's no official word on that, I was confused too because before the perm discount i used to pay 5 cheese (if I recall correctly).
But at least from what I got was 10 cheese for a tribehouse with 15 perms

i'll take map requests in exchange for cheese to export them

i don't know if that's something anyone would actually be interested in, but if it is you can ask for something like this:

• art map with whatever theme or subject but no copyrighted stuff
• mech map with specific mechanic like gears, pulleys, some idea you have but don't know if it's possible, etc.
• some miscellaneous map with a gimmick like gravity, shaman objects, single ground, etc.
